Olympics Failing?
 

Has anyone been watching the Olympics?

I see that it is a nightmare in Greece as noone wants to even go. They are even giving the tickets away.

Is there hype about it in many other countries?
In the UK nearly everyone I have spoken to says it's boring or that it just wasn't as good as the Sydney Olympics?

I don't know if it's boring or not, because I never watch any of these events except when the Olympics are on TV - LOL

I do find myself watching it every chance I get - I watched prelimanaries for Men's Gymnastic's yesterday for about 2 hours for no apperant reason :D

The girls on the Canadian softball team were hot.

Those in the girl's shotput were men.

Maybe the guys with hard bodies, sweat glistening and their tight little suits just did something for you subconciously ? |jester|

I have been watching the games more than usual. I have no idea why but I am even missing my favorite shows because I am caught up watching some game I would never usually watch.

I can't stop watching the HD feed on NBC - seems like it's nothing but Olympics & the swimming looks really fucking cool!!!!

Wouldn't you just love to see a tasty 44DD win gold? I know I would.
Most of the female swimmers seem to be blessed with talent and blighted by testosterone.

yeah.... I didn't get to see it, it was a bit early... but that's what I read. You lead most of the way until the 4th.

I have been totally addicted to the Olympics, I think a lot of Aussies are watching this year with it being the follow up to our Olympics. Plus we are a strong swimming nation and have done well in the metal tally.

Its too bad that the crowd numbers are so low, hopefully they will get off their butts and give away some tickets so that they athletes can perform in front of a packed house. But other than that, things look really good for Athens. All work has been completed, the opening ceremonies were amazing and so far there have been no security problems either. Good on em, I say!

I have for some strange reason started to watch it too

I watched the Marathon yesterday and Just our luck; poor Paula Radcliffe was sitting on the side of the road in tears, she didn't deserve to go out like that....

I've seen some of these gymnastics and fuck me! .... They can get into positions I didn't know were even possible. They'd be great porn stars!

I think the opening was pretty impressive but it still seems like it has been alot slower than any others that I have seen to get alot of serious interest in it.
I seem to find that I watch it when there is little else on... but then I get a little engrossed.
