The iPod's "halo" effect
 

Seems that Mac sales are up after students are having a good experiance with the iPod USAToday is reporting, damn and Apple was suppose to be going out of business.

Macs are great machines. They're just way more expensive, and have less utility to them (such as gaming, and certain programs that are exclusive to pcs)

though, for a work or homework machine they're awesome :)

i've always said that, tho, glad to see people getting machines exclusively for work. keeps em from playing games and wasting time :D

fi i was a parent and I would definately get my kid a mac :D
