Linklist scripts.

Hey :) , How is your day going? ,

I'm just makeing this thread because I'm in the process of designing my own linklist site. I just would like to find out what scripts you great linklist's owners use " if you dont mind " , I was looking at the script Links2.0 .

Thanks:)

You can check our solution - http://www.xpowerlinks.com

If you have any questions - hit to ICQ 319797319

I really like the fetures of Xpowerlinks but was told that is creates "pseudo-static pages on mod_rewrite" which I only kind of understand what they are.

I need something that can create include files that I use to pull into other pages of mine using PHP and SSI.

Guess I'm still looking for something.

The site in my sig runs X Power and I love it. Took me a while to set up since there are so many features, but that's not a bad thing!|bananna|

Accelman handles all the support and he's online on ICQ most of the time, and I'd be happy to answer any questions I can. Essentially the use of mod_rewrite allows all the PHP generated pages to have standard static URLs for spider friendliness. My site's still new and I'm getting some good crawls already. If you ever decide to go with it PM me or hit me up on ICQ and I can give you a few new user tips.

I just have disdain for editing script templates as I often add and tweak things on my pages. Also my LL uses bits and pieces pulled in from other scripts and my pages are really a collection of includes from many different scripts.

I'm also not sure how well it would handle domains that I've collected over the years and have aliased to my real domain. I bought a traffic script awhile ago and had to return it when I found out that I would need to but an additional license for each alias or my surfers would get a message that I was using an unlicensed copy.

Thanks very much.
We do the best to provide good support. Going to release the new version with lots of new features.

All of new features were requsted by our clients. Due to free version updates clients are interested to suggest new features for script developing. We are looking for new feature requests before general version update.

You can send your comments about Xpowerlinks or script features requests to e-mail - support AT xpowerlinks {DOT} com

Thanks alot going to look over them now:) will have my linklist up for reviews in a few days to get some better ideas about my design . From you " great GURU's :) "

Ghost wrote our LL script. I really love that, it makes it so easy to make any changes or add to it if necessary. Plus if something goes wrong in the future we know it so well that fixing it should be relatively easy.

Based on my logs it seems LinkAdmin is the most used:

http://usefulscripts.com/

There's a big ass thread here somewhere about building one's on link list program and there is a lot of good comments in that thread.

The gist I got is that none was perfect and all need some sort of customization to meet your needs. I only read it in passing though.

Any chance of making it so that links are pulled into regular html pages using includes the way LinkAdmin does? I would buy your script today if it did.

plateman 2004-08-31 11:26 PM

well I can say Linkadmin is good but I wish it had other features..

One great thing I like Is building a page with a DB of links and add the tags and turn on the links.. rejection reasons are really easy to do also..
