Just curious how many of you have booked rooms at Mandalay Bay so far. I called the Rose tours or whoever it is that handles it on the website. They say you don't get a confirmation from the Hotel until December when they submit the room list. Is that what they told you guys too? And what are they charging you for a regular room? They told me $165 a night for a basic room. Normally we would stay at our Condo in LV but we sold it this year so this is the first time I am booking through these guys, just want to make sure I am not getting ripped off and shit.

Cool thanks guys, so Linkster since you have used them before is that common that you don't get a confirmation until December? She said I was on the list so hopefully everything is cool, just curious since its my first time going through them...paranoia setting in I guess.

Gonna make the reservations for the plane this week as well with the frequent flyer miles :-)

Yep - the Dec comfirmations are normal - also if you need the prices over at the Venetian through them let me know - its not much more for a few of the nights - of course if youre staying for the "other show" then it goes up considerably :)

Isn't everyone pretty much staying at the Mandalay Bay though? I am not staying for the AVN show just Internext this go round. Last year we stayed for 2 weeks but this year we are in and out in 4 days :)

I mean if much of the crew from the board is staying at the Venetian then maybe I will switch, otherwise I figured would be easier to be close to the party action this time around.

What they told you is pretty much the norm for them.

Yeah I tried booking directly and they said they were booked up. That's why I went through Rose because it seems thats the only way to get a room. If someone else has luck direct , let me know how you did it so I can do it myself direct with the hotel :)
