What do good / converting hosted galleries looks like?
 

Lets see some examples of what you think good hosted galleries looks like ? When I mean good i mean in terms of the gallery layout design , the content , promo tools being used and of course the conversion ratios on them |potleaf|

They have ads and little pics that you can click to see the big pics.

Oh yeah they usually fit in a window that is about 700 pixels wide.

Gallery should fit within a 720 pixel table.

15 or 16 thumbs.

Not a ton of graphics, just something to pull the eye into the ad.

Lots of good sales text. (not rendered text)

Text should talk about the niche and should be written by someone who knows the niche that the gallery is promoting.

Test should end with a call to action, Like Click here for bla bla.

Your question is difficult to answer as it is subjective. Of course Cleo has given you the basic for gallery design.

IMO, the less graphical galleries tend to go the best. I guess it going back to the KISS theory.

The last thing I want to do is post links to my best converting galleries because then they would be copied making them useless to me.

The best way to find out what people want is to make your own galleries then ask people what they think. That will give you tons of feedback.
