Not being listed@link-o-rama.com - Bet You've Seen this Thread Before
 

First up b4 I start asking questions I'd just like to introduce myself, my name is Richy and I have been a part time webmaster for about 20 months or so...I confess I've lurked around this forum before because its jam packed full of info. Its almost a bit intimadating - I mean what can I contribute besides asking my question, lol. So congratulations and thanks for this great site and here goes with the ?

I've submitted the following two sites to www.link-o-rama.com in the last 12-15 days and they dont seem to have been listed.

URL 1 (submitted about 10-12 days ago):

I'm asking now because I noticed there has been an update at link-o-rama just yesterday/today.
I was just wondering if there is a problem with the sites could someone let me know please.
If on the other hand I have been blacklisted, possibly this is the case because I had a problem with my host a few months back were all my sites were down for a couple of days. I tried to get on top of it asap but it seems there have been some consequences. I did notice when submitting to SmutGremlins that I had been put on there blacklist, reason being '404 after listing'. I wondered if link-o-rama was using the same blacklisting script. I just want to say that I do understand the rules and I am an honest webmaster so if my sites that were listed at SmutGremlins went 404 that could only be because of the situation I experienced with my host a few months back( his machine went down, no backups available apparently? sigh.... ). Since it was only a few days, about 21/2 from memory, I thought I had got'em back up in time and din't bother to send explanation emails to the linklists I had used. Damn.
Basically what I am saying is I apologise for the 404 issue and I hope it is possible to give me another chance. Please dont ban me for life, like it says in the rules. Im sure if you allow me to continue submitting there will be no repeats of this issue without immediate notification emails going out to all the biggies and you'll certainly never expereince any blatant rule breaking
or redirects, circle jerks or any cheating bs from me.

2nd, we are here to answer questions, so don't be shy. Jim always says: "The stupidest question is the question not asked" :)

Now, as far as your sites - yes, you are blacklisted for having sites go 404 after we listed them :( But, I am in a good mood today - LOL - so if you can tell me the month that the hosting problems occured & it matches up with the info I have, the I'll get you off of there :)

A few things about the sites:
1 - there is a new rule at LOR that your sites have to fit on an 800 wide monitor - 3 of the 4 pages on the twink feet one are too wide :(
2 - be very, very, very careful with how you use the word "boy" - to most of us, a "boy" is someone under 18. In fact, I'd stop using the term "boy" completely if I were you.

Also, the foot site has no nudity at all, I sort of have hard time "placing" it.

Thanks everyone for your welcoming comments and advice. Everyone here is on the ball hey, I posted last night as I was going to bed and then wammo, 5 mins later or not much more, there are 2 emails in my box telling me there have been replies and GreenGuy has even answered me already - thats too good, lol.
Ok so here goes, the drama with my host being down unexpectedly etc happened on approx 21/03/2004 or 22/03/2004. I recieved an email from my host on the 22/3 that started quote 'Today we had a serious hard drive failure on the server that your accounts and domains reside on' - I can cc GreenGuy a copy if thats what you would like ? One other small thing can you tell me who else uses the blacklist script @ http://bl.usefulscripts.com/ (I gather that SmutGremlins.com uses it) so I can resubmit there please as well as at LOR.

P.S. In regards to what Alex has to say - Is it Gay? Is it Foot Fetish? I would say its both, lol. Definitely gay ( u know any straight men who wanna look at young mens feet?....Id like to meet 'em if so, lol) and also definitely fetish. I have been submitting it to these categories at the linklists, in this order and providing they have the categories, Gay/Male Feet, Gay Fetish, Gay Twinks (young men, college age 18-24ish) and then just plain old gay. I dont think it would be relevant to the straight fetish category. Thats my 2 cents worth

That's all I needed to know - I'll get gay-men-picture.com off the blacklist tonight :)
