Just lost the ficus tree that is on the west side of my house. :(

The hurricane is stalled so this may go on for awhile. My bedroom is under the fallen tree so I'm thinking it would be a good idea to sleep in the guest room which is on the other side of my house, but so far my house is fine and I even still have power.

Watching the news, Nassu was hit pretty hard, so far we are ok, few branches down, neighbors screen ripped off and a small tree down.

Looks like the tree made a hole in my roof as I'm seeing the celling getting wet in my bedroom and I can hear what sounds like water in the celling building up. I just moved everything out of it to the other side of the house. Fuck I own a lot of clothes and shoes. LOL

I've been saying for a very long time that I wanted to remodel my bedroom, guess I will be now.

If you plan to ride out the storm at home, I suggest you invest in an underwater camera. :D

Cleo, if you don't "save" your clothes that means you can go shopping to replace them!

Clothes and shoes are way too hard to find and anyway can you really ever have too many shoes? :D

I'm east of Federal highway so I'm in the state's insurance high risk pool. I just called them and put my claim in, figured I'd try to be one of the first.

It is pretty spooky over in my bedroom as I can hear the tree grinding into the roof. That part of my house is an addition and has a flat gravel roof but the rest of my roof is barrel tile.

I guess a lot of folks will be needing this website.

At least we are not getting the worst winds, but we are in for a soaking with it moving so slow.
I'm over in Hillcrest in Hollywood up on the 4th floor...so I'm comfy.
LOL, one of my partners in the Canadian Online Pharmacy lives on the beach up by Oakland Pk...so he decided to "escape" the brunt of it by going to Boynton Beach...roflmao....good thing he's not the money guy ;)

We have Brett/Sammy’s cars and a friend (who went with them to Thailand) truck over here, and of course a 30' long and 1' thick tree branch just fell on them.

I went out to see if I could move it and I don't think I can with what is going on out there.....

Be careful that there aren't any power lines in the branches.

Water is coming in pretty good from the hole that the tree put in my roof and looking at the weather it looks like this could go on for a few days. :(

Clothes Shoes and Trees can be replaced... just keep your heads down people;)

If it's stalled it could be building up strength. Didn't they say the closer it gets to land it's possible that the warmer water could strengthen it?

It has been very dry up until now, but now it is raining really hard.

First it puts a hole in my roof and then it starts raining. Did I mention how much I hate fucking hurricanes?

I already had my guest room's closet full of my old clothes and shoes how the fuck am I suppose to fit all of my stuff from my bedroom closet? LOL

At least I still have power and internet, but I am down to basic cable as the tree feel on my satellite dish.

Generally we don't see eye-to-eye on alot of things but this all sounds real horrible.

I hope things calm down for you and anyone else over that way and that no harm comes to you or your family.
