Looks like the power went out for good. I heard the biggest explosion yet and there is not lights anyplace for as far as I can see.

My big UPS blew out earlier when a bad serge hit so now I just have two laptop batters and one small UPS that I'm using to power my router.

Usually when a very large area goes out like this it gets fixed faster then if just a block goes out so I'm hoping but with the weather like it is I doubt that repair crews will be working.

Anyway after MML called to see if I was ok I just wanted to let everyone know that I fine, just bored miserable, and dreading my house getting hot since I no longer have power to run the A/C.

Saving power so that I can go online and get news so I'm just going to be checking in every now and then. :)

Be careful Cleo. I saw on the news an interview with your mayor who said the repair crews won't be going out until the worst has passed.

Remember courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is that little voice at the end of the day that says: "I'll try again tomorrow."

Alive and kicking :)

Looks like pretty much all of my area is without power and my cable modem is down so I'm surfing at about 33K using Bluetooth with my cell phone's GPRS.

Lost a few more trees last night and my bedroom is pretty much destroyed due to the ficus tree falling on it and making a hole in the roof but other then that not too bad.

Thanks to all that called me last night to see if I was ok. :)

Trying to call Luna and Angel but with power out we are all down to cell phones and even my cell was out earlier.

Going to go take down my storm shutters, get some light in my house, and then setup the BBQ to make some coffee, damn this is getting old. lol
