Happy labor day my US friends :)

We have that one on the 1st of May so it's long gone here.

What's new.. well, the electricity at our house kinda disappeared. I hope it decides to be back again when I get home in 3 hours or it will be a long and boring evening. I might even have to do some offline stuff... imagine the horror in that :)

Still no cable and the fallen tree is blocking my dish so no satellite either but I do have internet. This will be a Labor Day weekend that I will not forget.

I too am glad to see most of our FL people are posting - anyone head from Kat/Torn or CamzDan?

We're having some family & friends over to go swimming & eat low cost BBQ'd meat today, so I'll be scarce once I update the LOR.

Last day for the pool for me too - contractors are starting tomorrow with new tile, new lines for the hot tub & a lot of other crap that needs to be done.

Busy day today cooking, watching marathons on TV and hopefully a bike ride :)

Back to work tomorrow.

Yesterday was the BIG annual MDA ride here :)

I doubt that Kat/Torn or anyone up there has power yet.

I have to say that of all the hurricanes that I've been through this was by far the worse ever and the eye didn't hit where I am. I can only imagine what it did to them. :(

Actually I do have to imagine since I still don't have fucking TV. |pissed|

I was driving around last night and OMG some places are destroyed. Part of I-95 was even washed away just north of me.

You would think that the insurance company would be open today but all I get is their voice mail.

A reporter for FNC was following the storm yesterday and found a 20 foot hole in I-95, probably the same one. |sad|
