Google Images traffic
On one of my domains I'm getting more than half of my SE "traffic" from Google Images. my guess is that the surfer mainly sees the image and not the page it's on..
Am I totally wrong here or not? If not, what can I do to optimize this traffic? |
They usually have a link to the page that the image is from.

hum....
Can't you use htaccess to block and redirect ppl to the webpage?
|
For the most part, google stores a thumb on their server. The hits you are seeing (if you copy the link into your address bar) will show the thumb and the page it comes from. This can be both good and bad, depends on the way things work out.
I don't think there is much benefit in restricting a SE's access to your site. Alex |
hum...
welll i meant restric only the img's....
but i think ppl will benefit from that... because of the link where the pic is... if the surfer likes the pic, i think we can say that he will visit the site.... |
since the new filter was enabled by default my images traffic def. went down
|
hum...
btw can someone post some good toturials about .htaccess?
