My 1st free sites..
 

Hello everyone at GG & Jim |waves|

I just got into making a couple of freesites, and I just want your input (comments/suggestions) for them..

I just realized that I shouldn't have had any banners on my warning page, but it won't happen with my next freesite..

Here are the three I made so far:

I would say the biggest problem on the sites is that you don't carry the site title through the other pages. The galleries as a result just look like sponsor galleries with a front end tack on them.

Generally, they are very clear and neat sites. Foot fetish is a nice niche. :-)

Yea there's a lot of silly mistakes I make when I make those sites..

Do you think that my galleries should be different by layout? ie. 3x4 thumbs on one and text and between, and 2x6 thumbs (vertically) on the other?

I would say that it is easier (both logically and operationally) to use the same layouts for all galleries on the same site, but use different layouts on other sites as you go. Keep it mixed up, keeps your sites from getting stale. You will also find that some setups might sell better than others.

the warning page should always have banners/ads on it... it is the first thihng the surfer sees when clicking on your site and you can get a substantial numer of clicks to sponsors from your warning page.... just be careful because depending on where you submit some link lists don't allow any hardcore pics/banners on the warning page ;)

Agreed, the warning page is your first chance to make a sale and you should take advantage of it. And I'll add that one of my best performing warning page banners is all but G-rated. Hook 'em with a tease and send them right off to the "good" stuff.

I listed 2 of your sites yesterday, the 3rd one will be for today I guess :)

What I did notice on the sites you posted in the thread above is that Jay's links are black on a black background. This might get you rejected at his site and others.

Jay's recip will probably be a problem for him - just remember to edit the font colors on that one :)

And try not to fall into the habit of using the same template over & over - none of us link list owners like that too much :D

Overall, the sites do look nice :)

I will keep in mind to change up my layouts of my sites, for better listing and off course more higher listings..
