Difference between TGP and TGP2?
 

Couldnt find a site listing the differences ;)

TGPs are still around and TGP2 died a quiet death that some have not notice yet.

What was the main difference between them?

TGP2 offered the surfer less pics - about 1/2 what normal TGP's require.

Good idea, just came around 7 years too late :)

TGP2 aint completely dead.... it is still a valid marketing tool.

I still make sales from TGP2 galleries....

Thumbnail Links to an HTML page containing the JPG image and if you want another banner upsell to the sponsor. That's what i remember. The number of thumbnails maybe off a bit. *shrug*

TGP2 sites are only allowed to trade with other TGP2 sites.

The concept of TGP2 is much better than regular than TGP ( less bandwidth, content lasts longer, more clicks thru to sponsor), but all the big sites are TGP. can't get enough of traffic to TGP2 galleries, so it isn't dead, but it isn't really alive. I'm sure there are people that make good money off TGP2 style galleries and sites, but not compared to TGP sites and galleries.
