netherlands 42.7% where did they find that, i believe i have to ask some money back because we do pay above the 50% which was 60% btw

for real the netherlands have 3 boxes and the highest box is 52%(was 60%) , say you earned 60.000 then 15.000 falls in box 1, i believe 30% , then to the amound 42.000 will fal in box 2, 42% , then the evil all above the 42.000 will get in box 3 52% the f......... sneaking..greedyyyy.RATSSSSS, Can you quess wich boxes i fall in|scared| |pissed|

Those numbers are based on minimul income like GreenGuy said so not truely accurate but some of you guys are paying insane percentages.

US and Canada are the same for Income tax which is one thing but the killer is the taxes we pay here in Canada from our disposible income.

24 beer - $35
40 oz Rum - $32
Gas - 75-90cents a liter ($2.85-3.40/gallon) depending where you live
Cigarettes - about $7-8 a pack (I don't smoke)

Sales taxes in many places in Canada are 15% so add that to all your regular purchases except food. :(

Buy a house in the netherlands, the prices are huge here, then taxes will come, you have to pay over the value of your home, you have to pay taxes because you live in you own house, you have to pay taxes because, the goverement misses rental income , that goes also over the valeu of your home,
since the euro was introduced the prices of food and all raised towers high........
10 beers will cost here 27.50 euro which would make about 32 bucks..........soon you have to be a millionaire to live here but then i am planning to move to mallorca when i am older|angry|

27.5 euros? Have the prices gone up that much since last time I was there? I remember being in valkenswaard 2 months ago and only paid about 1 euro for a beer. Ofcourse it was beer in a plastic cup on a party in some tent :D
We pay about 1.3 euro for a beer in a bar so we can get drunk real cheap :)

16th place... Well... Not to bad - not to good! Depends also what you get for free also. Here we have free hospital and doctors (well, almost as you need to pay a little to the doctors and for medicine). But we also got loads of other taxes.... a hell of a lot road taxes, car taxes, private home taxes, toilet taxes... |flush|
