Hope this helps - save this code as a html file and load it into your browser - then surf your sites to see if they fit. Saves a lot of time fiddling with your screen res.

Code:

I build my sites with front page and any one who uses front page can use the preview in browser option and set it to 800x600

Well, I build my sites with 750px table as base but when I test it with FP at 760x420 (800x600 maximized) horizontal scrollbar appears.. Something is fucked here... actually I do it by opening 'favorites' tab and checking if it's displayed properly (using 1024x768 now)

Make the table 750 wide does not mean it's gonna end up 750 wide :)

If you throw 4 200x200 images in a 750 wide table, you'll get a table that's over 750.

If you make the cell padding or spacing too big, you're go over 750.

If you put 3 cells in there that are 275 wide each, you'll go over 750.

If you put a border on the table that's 5 pixels big, you'll go over 750.

Be careful :)

i think thats the most common mistake the people make with their free sites having the tables wrong, well having the tables 750 but indeed put in 4 things in from 200 you have a problem

Which, dammit, is where I am stalled right now....It is really hard to get the tables right and use the recips you are required to use to get listed, when the recips are sized a certain way, and changing the table size of said recip makes it display incorrectly, which won't get you listed either....So, all I can add I suppose is that it is frustrating on both sides these days.....

Jaden|waves| i make the tables of the linkback itself smaller, then it will fit.
