googlebot question

Is googlebot still called googlebot?

I have a stats program that searches the raw log file and looks for "googlebot" in the entries. I haven't been seeing much of the little fellow lately, so he's either just not coming around, or I should be looking (greping) for something else.

Anyone know?

As far as I am aware the - User Agent - is still Googlebot/2.1

Well, I've noticed new activity from this IP 66.249.66.74
and:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
