video to thumb?
 

I have 10 .wmv's that I want to use in a free site but... I do not have thumbs to make the galleries. How do I make them? Is there a program?

Chances are the thumbs would be LOW quality any ways and would they even be accepted? If an image was taken from the video?

take a screenshot with the movie paused at its native resolution.....

open screenshot in an image editor.....

crop everything but the "movie".......

then crop and resize at your desired size......

HINT never resize LARGER. This will make images fuzzy.......
Always scale image down TO THE LARGER of the X Y dimensions. Example 1024x768 jpg.......You want a 90x120 thumb........resize while keeping aspect ratio........to 160x120....then crop the image to 90x120.

This might not be EASY but it works
