Most TGP owners assholes?
 

I have noticed that there seems to be a greater percentage of assholes on the AdultWebmasterInfo BBS. I have noticed TGP and CJ owners seem to be more assholes than the paysite, hosting, avs, LL, etc owners. There are a lot more of these types that post here and on Cozy. Does anyone else think this is so?

A lot TGP owners are assholes with big heads but honestly most are tired!!

Tired of all the cheaters. Tired of having an open submit page and people using 5 emails and domains and subbing 5+ galleries a day to them. Tired of an asshole installing toolbars on his surfer's and his browsers.

Some TGP owners have been burned so many times they become defensive and bitter. (not really asshole, LOL)

Here an example.
I help a friend with his TGP and here's cheaters found in the past few days who multisubmit using different names and emails:
ebonyqueendom.com and goto-porn.com
nudefreepics.com and virtualfilth.com and totalfilth.com and getjizz.com and about 6 more
bbw-top-girls.com and black-girlsx.com
momincyberspace.com and yukho.com and others too

That's just the past 2 days. :(

thankfully, my tgp script Comus thumbs catches most cheaters So I don't have to deal with it!

I don't do business with ass holes. I do biz with a lot of TGP owners. That means that a lot of TGP owners are NOT ass holes but some are.

I think you hang out on boards that have a lot of ass holes. There are plenty of those. I know becasue I have about 30 webmaster book marked but I only visit 4 for information and sharing, 2 for giggles now and then and the rest I check out once every 6 months and try to remember why I keep the bookmarks.

maybe because it is so easy to set up a tgp as a newbie and get a flow of traffic,they are "know it all assholes?"

I think it all depends on your POV - I'm sure there are a lot of people that think the Link List owners that frequent this board are assholes :D

If you agree with the asshole's opinion, then you don't even know that they are an asshole :)

Well I am a asshole in real life as esposed to them all of my life..
But on a webmaster board the assholes should cover it up as I do..|rasta|

but really a asshole is a product of being fucked over by other people..

Jason, I have seen your posts on AWI & Im not so sure that you are pissing with just TGP owners. For instance 12clicks doesnt run a TGP, but is known as a program owner.

The rest are probably just following the sheep mentality which was evident in that post who was looking for the male pornstar. A bunch of guys who all registered within the past 6 months, yet have racked up hundreds of posts took the piss out of a guy who wanted some info. Those arent TGP owners, they are noobs following the sheep mentality who think its cool to piss-take when they can get away with it.

However if you prefer the feel of GG&J or Cozy then you are probably much better off posting here.

Sorry to hijack Jason's thread again, but stouch has hit the nail on the head here. GG&J is an "adult" board for adult webmasters. It's like a family in many ways. The best part about this board is the general atmosphere and the attitude of helpfulness. I may post on another board (though only when I want to advertise something), but it's GG&J that I call my virtual home.

You'll only find the odd asshole like Plateman here, Jason. :D j/k

I remember reading your post and the only one that was pulling you chain was 12clicks and he's not a a TGP owner.

I agree in 100%. Plus the design which is very warm and calming for the eyes makes this board #1.

This board is tops because real pros come here to do business with other pros. That's why I come here, to learn from people who are obviously successful, and they make a shitload of sense.

As far as TGP owners being assholes, I would have to say, define the word asshole. I'm not sure how you can tell if they are an asshole or not, just by submitting to them. I think you'd really have to dick a site owner over pretty well to make them vindictive enough to prove how much of an asshole one can be. Play by the rules and you won't meet any assholes, just business partners.

I own two TGPs and I can't imagine that any of the people who have mistakenly submitted to me would consider me an asshole. I hardly ever update, but that doesn't matter since my TGPs have such a small flow of traffic, you wouldn't know if I listed you or not. :D

in this biz "asshole" is usually an opinion unless it is caught on film |jester|
