Recommend me a counter
 

Looking for a counter for a new hub page I built. I know of Sex Tracker and XXX Counter. Are there any other new ones? I haven't used a counter since Fox Counter was around.

It's not new but I use to use this .

Sexcounter is the best new counter, it's invisible and it has some great stats, check it out.

Counters are SOOOOOOO 1999 :D

Server stats are all I need :)

What do you use for server stats?
Do you know that your server stats are sometimes not as acurate as a third party counter?

I use server stats for everything. Plus, I sleep well at night knowing that they won't be installing crap on my surfers sites :D

Agreed totally. I use Urchin stats which you probably know are the best of the best, but I have a need for a counter for this particular project. Like I said I hadn't used a counter since Fox Counter has been around, someone would be foolish to rely on counter stats anyway because they shave hits for themselves.

I'm still using Sextracker, because I know how to read them - also in comparison to other sites...
And when I'm in the Top 100 then I'm happy, if I'm in the Top 50 I'm smiling, if I'm under rank 130 I have to work more! LOL

On my main site I signed recently with Masterstats - and I must say I really like them and get some traffic back (like in the good old days with SexList).

Another good counter (not really permitted for Adult, but I have some acounts since 1998) are extreme-dm - for a free counter they're really good with tracking search engine hits!

I would have to agree with GG that there is no better stats than your server stats. But if you do go with a counter I would deal with Master stats. I say this because the founder of YNOT Rick Muenyong developed it and sold it to ProAdult. I know and have work with both parties in the past and I trust them both.

paycounter.com seem to have a good name and you can earn 5c a click.

Well masterstats.com is the only one I used , but cant really say a bad word about it. Clean and easy to operate.

Check out AWStats for server stats. They are free and give decent information. The only problem is the size of the log files!

Do yourself a favor. Stay away from all counters.

i use weblog expert but the big problem is the size of log files. I don't know too much about server stats but can i see the stats without download the log file?....

Wise words.... Counters slow down page loads and are traffic leaks, amongst other problems.
I use AWStats to monitor all my site traffic. :)

I understand counters blow, I admitted I don't rely on them and I do have server stats but the way you've said it makes it sound like you had some kind of really bad experience? What makes you so adamant about it? |spaceship
