Would you list this site?

I didn't.

Nasty Dollars is being used as the main sponsor, adult.com got 1 small link on each gallery and yet it's their content.
I thought adult.com wasn't promoted enough to be able to use their free content.

Would you list it?

spacemanspiff 2004-10-05 09:02 AM

Good question. Is it the link list owners job to police that sort of thing?

swedguy 2004-10-05 11:14 AM

Lets say there was a site that had free content from sponsor X, but on the site there were only ads from sponsor Y.

So you're saying that LL's should accept it if it didn't break any of the rules at the LL?

If I knew that someone was violating a license or usage agreement, I wouldn't list their site. But it would be very unusual for me to know if someone was in violation in that regard, and I usually don't pay any attention at all to what sponsors someone is promoting when I review sites. I would have listed that site.

No brainer I can bet your sponsor would say NO and its probly in its TOS

Jakudza 2004-10-05 04:41 PM

thumbs suck anyways why would you want to list it? :D

swedguy 2004-10-06 01:14 AM

It's a no-brainer for me at least. If you use sponsor content, it should be used as the main sponsor.
Just wanted to check what other reviewers think.

If you are using sponsor content, in my mind I want to see galleries that promote NOTHING BUT that sponsor. I might allow for a text link or something to someone else, but really, it's the sponsors content, you should be promoting them.

I had had quite a few recently of sponsor content with the top banner to the sponsor, and the bottom a huge scrolling ad for penis pills. You can imagine exactly how many of them I have approved.

Good to hear.
Just wanted to check if I was being a tight ass ;)

Thanks everyone.
