This is getting interesting. Exactly the same thing happened with smut gremlins.

I'm on cable, Alex. Why? It matters?

One of the things the Link Admin uses for the 24 hours rule are IP addy's - so, the shit thing is that if you're on a shared IP, it's 1st come, 1st served :(

Ok, so if I understand it right, since I'm on cable, I have a shared IP number, correct?

Question:
How can I overpass that?
Submit by email?

Some cable companies have shared IP once you hit the router & some don't.

As far as I know - and as shitty a thing it is to say - there's no way around it :(

This getting really odd.

I tried just now and managed to submit to link a rama. However, not to smut gremlins.

Shity thing :(

Can you use a proxy server?

bert2000pt 2004-10-07 11:26 PM

Don't think I can. Tried it once but no good results.

Thanks

bert, link-o-rama and smutgremlins use similar software, but they are NOT tied together. As a result, you could be inside the 24 hour window on one, and be clear on the other.
