It would be funny if it were not so sad.
Why do You give away partner accounts? Do You want cheaters to earn money on that?
I KNOW HUNDREDS of cheaters who buy-sell partner accounts. That is stupid! Today partner accounts on TGPs HELP CHEATERS EARN MONEY.
There is a huge market of partner account trade - they are being sold out in PACKAGES. ALL major TGPs are there. There are firm prices etc. And who buys them? "Webmasters" who use exploits, redirects and other shit on their galleries. That IS SAD and that is unfair to the ones who spend time and money to gain skills in gallery building.

I don't have that problem. My TGPs are closed to public submits :D

No public submit? Then You have either partner submits or list FHGs or grab galleries from other tgps. All these solutions are not the best as i see it

:) I won't. Cuz if You do not allow public submits Youdo not have problems with cheaters. That is ur way. But a lot of TGPs still accept partners nd close their eyes on cheats...

Can You please give examples of big tgps that You know ARE NOT being screwed? Cuz this list will be much shorter.

Name a TGP and i will provide a price for the partner account on a "shadow market".

You know why i started the thread? Cuz it made harm to me and i am surprised that tgp owners are so blind...

What good are these, so called "shadow market" partner accounts when we can blacklist them with one click? Do you think we allow partners to flood us with tons of bullshit?

As long as your careful who you give them too they help keep the cheats out they certainly dont help them.

I believe the answer to the "how to make it better" will be to only accept his gallery making people so that he can scrape them for 50% of the revenue.

There is no sense in partner accounts today cuz anyone can buy them and submit anything. That is the truth. ANYONE can obtain accounts for Shemp, Pichunter, Al4a, Madthumbs etc. Every account has it's own price. There are "webmasters" who earn money on reselling partner accounts only. I was shocked but this is how things are going and something must be done about that...

How many gallery mking ppl can You find? How many content etc will You need? That will be a head ache

Yes, we have the russian version cuz one of the partners is from russia and i must say they are honest and work hard. We are not widely open to western webmasters cuz need to have some more thing done

Its neither. What he is saying is a warning to all sites that use partnership systems. Your partner accounts may be being resold to cheaters, so dont think that working on partner only is foolproof.

Shemp has replied on another board to this and has stated that he has found 17 occasions this year where Shemp partner accounts are being resold.

Shemp is a member of this board and could comment here if he wanted to.

Ok thats a fair point, but judging by some of the replies in this thread....

The guy raised a serious issue which quickly descended into a piss take on his English & his business plan. Therefore I thought it fair to acknowledge what he was saying on the off chance that the piss-takers didnt quite grasp it. Hence I used DD's post for emphasis & quoted Shemps post on another board as people respect him in the TGP world.

Its the easiest thing in the world to just jump on people on a message board, but there was a quite valid message beneath the broken English in this instance.

I have to repeat what was said on Shemps board. The best solution is domain/email/user/pass verification (not email/user/pass only). But it's quite rare to see it working on many tgps. Let's take pichunter or free6 - they got TONS of galleries redirecting traffic, etc, even though they have set up partner based submissions. Their surfers often get into trouble after clicking on the link to a gallery. When i tried to surf some major tgps guess what i got? Even good AV software won't help.
If only all tgps did set up domain verification "the world would be safer" (J.Buch). I think it's time to say that to AG team... I will raise the problem discussion on their board.

I had to face this problem when some hackers sniffed my passwords - i had to explain that thing to sveral tgp owners but not all of them believe that. Alas. The ones who spend their time andmoney, hardworking tgp owners and gallery builders, both are getting screwed...
