Matrix fans, watch . . .
 

Equilibrium. I saw it last night on satellite. If you haven't seen this one, you must check out. It stars the guy who played Bateman, American Psycho. He makes Keano Reeves look like George Bush. This guy is one scary ass motherfucker to say the least, pure bred killing machine. The fighting scenes have non of the matrix freeze-frame bollocks and there's actually a good emotional roller-coaster of a story here. Parts of it remind me of Blade Runner (especially scenes close to the end). Watching it, you can't help wishing they would re-cast Matrix with this guy, just so you could watch this sick fuck deal out death. :D

I thought this film was OK, but that it didn't quite live up to its potential.

I'll definately have to check this out. Sounds like just my kind of movie

Ohhhh Gattaca. ANother good movie.

Didn't much care for Equilibrium myself, although I dug the anti-religion message it carried.

Someone needs to make a Neal Stephenson book into a movie. I would love to see Snowcrash for example. Don't know if it could be pulled off right, but what a great story.

I just saw it last night and I did enjoy it. They had an impressive cast for what seemily felt like a b movie (the costumes were motorcycle helmets and leather full length coats). The story was good and the fight scenes were real fun to watch. Good movie overall, very sci-fi. If you are a sci-fi fan don't miss it. Kind of reminded me of HL2, maybe because I just finished playing it :)

I watched Equilibrium 2 yrs ago in an underground movie theater in Berlin...it's a great one. Really impressive sci-fi movie.
