Does Google have a banned word list?

I look throught the google crieria before I post this.

I wonder if google has a banned word list as I have a site with the words teen and sex in the domain name.

The google bot has come by many times, but the domain is not listed at all in google.

The domain has been listed for about 2 months, and still no listing.

I have done the basic listing requirements, and I have gotten other domains listed.

Also the free teen domain has no links listed linking to it.

I am just wondering why this site is not being listed?

Thanks

Google does not have a banned word list - as far as I am aware.. and there are many "illegal" and "abhorrent" things you can search on google if you need "proof"

Without knowing the domain name(post it if you feel comfortable).. I will really just be guessing.. but...

It may have been "punished" by google for previous 'bad' use - SE spam etc..

It may simply not have enough inbound links(though this is unlikely - if googlebot has been to the domain)

Thats about all I can say without knowing the domain..:(

If you are even woried about this - you should avoid targeting those keywords for other reasons besides Google.

The only two things I can think of - in their AdWords program they definitely have a banned words list - things like tobacco, cigarettes etc are banned - as well as some words in the porn world like cum, slut etc.

In the regular search results they have dampening factors for certain words to keep the English language results for those words PG rated - an example is "sex"

On your site you might check it in Archive.org to see if it maybe had a site previously that could have set off Google - if its a relatively new domain for you

As for adwords I also found out that "lesbo" is banned

I was originaly thinking that maybe google didnt like teen and sex to be so close together similar to how some link lists like the term young lady.

And now that it was pointed out google doesnt ban much lol

Thanks for the replies. My hub at Free Teen Sex For Life is the site.

I just updated it in the last few days and I ran it through a enginebot test and it came back 100% in title, description, and keyword relevency.

I also changed out alot of the the links to be more relevent. So Ill see what happens the next update.

If you would like to take a look and tell me if there more I can do Id appreciate it.

Cheers

Really just about every dirty word is "banned" in adwords.
