Yo Greeny!! Tell me why.

Virtual Girls is Archived

This is bad?

Greenguy 2004-10-13 10:38 PM

Bad for a "free site"? Yes

You've got too much content on there (most free sites only need 20 pics) & you've got too many ads per page (most only allow 3)

I have no problems with the content and the amount of it as I totally and full endorse their program.

With the adds I agree there are (I think) 5 per page but only 3 noticable ones that will pull. I have links to the link partners I want directly below them on all pages.

I'm not trying to bend rules but there must be somewhere a happy medium, no?

208 pics is 188 too many for a free site & I don't make it a practice to bend the rules for anyone :)

Fine! Fucki it! If anyone want to submit links to a full quality 'selling' free site to isarchived.com, I'd appreciate it.

I'm gonna follow Green Guys rules and start building feeders to virtualgirl. I think it's worth it as Greenguys's traffic converts so well.

I'll let you know how it goes :)

I have to agree here with GG. I got your submission too, and while it is a very nice, clean site, it is WAY too much stuff to give away for free! Why would anyone want to even click on the links where they would have to pay for something when they are getting so much content at no cost! Heck this has more content than some pay sites I have seen! :) And also, unfortunatly, there are too many exit links to sponsors on the page as well. As you mentioned, I really suggest taking what you have and breaking it up into something like 10 different sites. Then, you are not giving everything away, and it will give you 10 times the exposure! Just remember, like the old saying, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free!".

Umm, third level domain is not really a good idea either. Any reason why you are doing this as opposed to a different domain?
