Good Thursday Porno Peoples!

Morning!

Was it just me, or did G-Dubya sound like a complete idiot when he tried to crack a few knee slapper jokes last night on the debate?

I think I have to go get my haircut today, but otherwise, I'll be here reviewing & building :)

Cleo 2004-10-14 07:12 AM

Morning :)

I'm up before dawn again since I have electricians coming this morning and tomorrow too.

Yesterday I was suppose to go check out a kitchen cabinet place and I got dressed to go and then fell asleep. I was planing on going to bed real early but then got involved in script geek stuff and didn't go to sleep until after midnight. Sleep is overrated anyway.

Off to go make a large bucket of espresso.

Good Morning
Thank God the debates are over. I don't think I could stand another hour and a half listening to bush.

Morning :)

Dubya was quite entertaining, in a moronic kinda way. He mumbled a lot to himself, stupid comments where he would probably be a lot better off if he just kept his mouth shut.

When he makes a joke and the crowd starts laughing you can see the fire in him. But when he makes a joke that is just plain stupid and no one laughs, his great "uh oh, what did I do now" face comes out :)

Morning all,

GG, a baseball, isn't that one of those round things? :)

Nothing special going on today so I'll just do what I do on other days :)

Useless 2004-10-14 07:40 AM

Is it Thursday already?

The G-dub managed to embarass himself and his nation once again last night. What was with the horribly awkward smile he ended each answer with? Am I only one who feels that, if someone is still undecided at this point, maybe they aren't bright enough to find the polling place either?|angry|

Good Morning people.

Gotta love technology. Got an elbow to the head last night playing basketball and ended up with a 1 inch gash on my eyebrow. No stitches though, they just glue cuts like that now so hopefully no scar.

Good Morning All :) Ramster Ouch! Well Bubba really sounded like an ass last night maybe they will run the reruns on the comedy channel |jester|

Morning all! I wanted to sleep in but low and behold I am up at 830am. I may have to go back to bed for a bit and recover from our crappy day yesterday.

Look at this Shit!

Awful!

AcidMaX 2004-10-14 09:09 AM

Well its rainy, overcast and cold here, fall is definitely upon us. Leaves on the trees have even started falling this week. Everyone has pulled their docs out except us, that is going to happen this weekend. I have the guys coming today to pull our pontoon boat out of the water and winterize it, summer went to fast.

Oh well another day of programming and maybe a trip to the bank.

Have a great day all.

I should have such a crappy day. ;)

Cleo 2004-10-14 09:56 AM

I'm having the same crappy weather. :D

Now I'm sitting here listening to beeping UPSs as they have shut off power to about half my house, but the A/C is still working, it's the little things in life that make all the difference.

Morning!!

Coffee and Cackleberries are ready!!

my favorite line from last night (there were sooo many)
Quote:

My opponent just this weekend talked about how terrorism could be reduced to a nuisance, comparing it to prostitution , illegal gambling.
I resemble that remark. Hookers provide a valuable service and an untapped tax base.. stick a meter between her legs and bring in new revenue!!

and think how many jobs illegal gambling generates!!

and i love the comparison to Tony Soprano and L&O. Priceless.

Cleo 2004-10-14 10:07 AM

Let's see prostitution is about two consenting adults having sex. Can someone please explain to me how this in anyway has anything to do with terrorism???

For that matter should I be worried about my neighbors maybe playing poker? I know that I live in constant fear of the little old ladies playing bingo on the Indian reservation.

ngb1959 2004-10-14 12:23 PM

Well, if you think about it, you're supposed to feel/see fireworks when you have sex, so I guess, if you take it to the next level, you could put a bunch of m-80's in a corporate dumpster instead of your neighbor's trash can! I don't know, I'm just a dumb old webmistress, I don't know nuttin bout birthin' terrorist plots!

I guess I'll build penis sites today and leave the vaginas for tomorrow.

Have a good day all.

As usual the Bushalites have twisted something:
This is the original text:

In the NY Times magazine article, a largely analytical cover story by Matt Bai, Kerry is asked "what it would take for Americans to feel safe again." (Special Report: America Votes 2004)

''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,'' the article states as the Massachusetts senator's reply.

''As a former law enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.''

Linkster 2004-10-14 02:52 PM

BTW - if youve never heard of this - its not surprising - the American news media has had a total blackout on this one since 2002:

Of course later the next year she was found dead of a gunshot wound that was ruled "self-inflicted"
