To owner who blacklisted this...

...domain toxicsperm.com, please remove it from the list, cause i've already moved that domain to another host.

Cleo 2004-10-15 11:01 AM

I didn't have blacklisted but I do see that my bot pulled your sites for no dns. :(

Feel free to resubmit as long as you are not on the shared list.

Linkster 2004-10-15 11:50 AM

When did you move to a different server? - the whois still shows hqhost as the real server with realitycheck as a "virtual" nameserver

How do you check it out?
I'm using this tool
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.....com&cache=off
And see about hqhost nothing...

I've changed nameservers 4 or 5 hours before the current moment.

Linkster 2004-10-15 12:47 PM

I use a different method - thats about all I can say

Cleo 2004-10-15 12:58 PM

I have all of HQHost's IP blocked so changing name servers only isn't going to help.

764 websites on that server including the usually collection of rape and incest sites.

Did they run out of Russian wives?

For SI's defence.
It looks like he has changed host, it's probably just the whois DB that is lagging.

That may be? The Ip Im getting is completely different - but then he says he just did this 4 or 5 hrs ago - it usually takes 3 - 4 days to get the global DNS completely updated (supposed to be faster than that)

It usually takes 5-30 minutes or so. Maybe that process took 3-4 days earlier(6-12 mouths ago).
I have to hide nothing.

swedguy, tnx for defense.)

Support of www.realitychecknetwork.com says (not about this domain, but it doesn't matter):

Quote:

zagi @ RCN (11:17 AM) : I just redid the registration and it should be available in 1 hour as .com/.net now updates every 5 mins instead of 24-48 hours like in the past
Should i swear on the Bible to prove the fact, that i've changed the host and just trying to put my domain from blacklist off?

Greenguy 2004-10-15 06:08 PM

I think the real question here is does changing hosts automatically get you off the blacklist?

I mean, we all banned the host because of the number of cheaters, so if everyone on that host moves, in theory the cheaters move as well & all this will just start over again.

You are all banned the host thats rigth, but i've banned in the past by you only...

Did i've convicted by anyone at this bord as cheater? I submit free site to many LLs, somebody of all suspect me? Maybe 1-2 owners suspects me, but i can't help them. All i do, i do honestly. All the rules followed by me, all the time.
Exactly, cheaters moves their sites too, but how this fact relate to me?

Notice please: i've blacklisted by you only (madskunk.com) with 'suspicious submits' reason. I don't know why my submits looks like suspicious. Maybe it whois info or proxy server(static IPs not supported by my internet-provider and i am enforced to use proxy for static ip, same proxy ofcause) or something else i have no clue.

Tnx for your time.

SI 2004-10-16 08:15 AM

Thread goes up...
"Funny story" by SI

juicy-asses.com, first of my domain name was banned for templates, thats ok, i've bought a new domain and made more templates.
sismoviepost.com ,second of my domains was banned for 404 error, after hard drive crushed, thats ok, i've bought a new domain and backuped sites on sismoviepost also.
madskunk.com, my last domain was banned for suspicious submits, thats ok? , sure, i'll buy a new domain, and...?
I can't wins this reason, cause it does not exist. I've gave up, i'll stop trying geting listed at link-o-rama.

btw
I've lost 3 not banned domains also for hqhost.

Have a nice day.)

Ramster 2004-10-16 09:22 AM

Personally I think SI is a good submitter.

Cleo 2004-10-16 09:26 AM

You sure seem to be having a rough time at this. :(

You do always use the same nick and e-mail address and follow all the rules don't you?

Do you work along or do you have a partner or anything like that?

I can't use f.e. webmaster@domain.com anymore, sinse domain.com was blacklisted. But i always submit as SI, exception a few LL, their sripts required more latters in a Nick field.

Maybe i've did mistakes in the past sometimes, blind link or pages of a site not in the same folder or something like this, but no more than that.

I have a few partners, but not in LL biz, so i work alone. I submit 20-25 sites per month usually.

Greenguy 2004-10-16 10:23 AM

I'm sorry, but your "Thread goes up..." post is just making things worse for you in my eyes.

Ann Omness 2004-10-16 12:12 PM

I deleted my own blacklist during the summer. Surprisingly to me, I've only had to add one domain back to the blacklist since then.

Linkster 2004-10-16 02:08 PM

Ann - I basically did the same thing - got rid of the old blacklist and started over - this morning I banned 20 more domains - which is about a daily average - but then I dont allow multi-submits and autosubmitters as well as submitters masking whois info to be able to do "group submits"
Ive always held that its not fair to the individual submitters who follow the rules for one group to get a third of my daily traffic just because they think they know how to cheat

Ann Omness 2004-10-16 08:55 PM

I've been suspecting that about a third of my submissions are coming from one or two webmasters but I've been tolerating it because 1) I reject a lot of their submissions because they keep reusing the same content and 2) they submit all their sites in just a few huge categories, leaving good visibility for everyone else who chooses a narrower niche category to submit to.

I can always level the playing field at a later time if I come to the conclusion that their cheating is dominating the list. It only takes a few moments to delete all of someone's sites from the database.

Cleo 2004-10-16 09:30 PM

I agree that it is probably a small group using software. It comes in waves and will suddenly increase our workload keeping us from doing other things.

Really I can think of lots of better things to do then endlessly clicking and declining idiots who obviously has not read anyone's rules.

I hate banning people but know what else to do.

BrianXXX 2004-10-18 03:26 PM

I am sure some of you saw my thread getting a domain unblacklisted (thanks again Greenguy). While my original problems were my own fault, it is too bad it is so hard for submitters and lists to meet. I understand it, with cheaters making the LL owner's jobs so much harder.

When in comes down to it, my goal is to make sites the LL owners like and surfers buy from. I try to follow the rules and I buy content individually for each site to keep it fresh. I hope now some link list owners will begin to recognize my submissions and think of them as "quality" sites.

I do live in the boondocks and have a crappy ISP (satellite access is pending). I am curious what you guys see my IP coming back as. 64.91.22.196

Cleo 2004-10-18 03:32 PM

Your ISP is source=ns1.centurytel.net

But this thread was about your host IP not your ISP's IP.
