Question on categories
 

Hi everybody

This question goes to LLs/DIRs with specific niche recips.

My sites are about "femdom" but may sometimes fall into other categories ie. foot worship, trample, spanking or smother.

Some of you have those specific niche recips but I would prefer to keep my sites under the "domination" niche, such as bondage, bdsm or femdom.

In the sites I already submitted, I made a point of saying so in the comments area.

So my question is:

Would you accept this "compromise" ?

Sometimes, I will move the site to a more targetted category. But, if you specifically request to be left in the general cat, then I would probably leave you there.

As long as the pics show what niche they were submitted under I'll usually leave them in the cat submitted under.

Lots of content falls under more then one niche so it is usually not a problem.

Our policy is to leave the site in the category it was submitted to unless it's clearly not appropriate for that category. Even if we've got a more targeted niche category for it, we'll leave it in the more general category if that's where the webmaster submitted it.

Incidentally, we just added a new recip table for niche-specific text link recips. Any of you using our buttons now may want to take a look at that if you'd rather be linking to niche-specific pages to help your search engine rankings.

Ann - I have 7 sites uploaded and ready to submit this week, with your previous general link. If it's ok with you, I will start using your new niche link when finished with this bunch. ok?

I got a bondage and fetish categories..

I know you do, plateman, and that was my question. When submitting a site of men worshipping female feet should I place it in bondage or in fetish? I prefer in bondage, because it's more the "spirit" of the sites.

bert2000pt, it's fine to keep using the old recips and buttons. We decided to add the categorical recip table as another option for submitters because it looks like it helps with search engine rankings. Some of the other submitters were already linking to the niche pages for that reason. We just decided to make it easy for them and supply them with the code to paste in for that type of recip.

I run more of a "cross reference" links site, so it is possible to find your link in all appropriate categories. You would only have to link back to one though. :)
