2257 link on galleries
 

Is the link to the 2257 compliance info a MUST on the galleries? Do the tgp owners really care about 2257? I guess some do, some don't...

I'm thinking of putting some 2257 text at the bottom of my galleries, instead of a link because the scripts would count it as another link, + the two links to sponsor, + 3 recip links up top, which is 6, and the maximum number of links on most TGPs is 5?

It all just depends.

Some places on my submit list require a clickable 2257 link. Some don't.

Its a heck of a lot easier for me to do one thing across the board, so I use a clickable link on every gallery. In my entire list, there are only 2 sites that sometimes get squicky and tell me I have too many links.

~shrugs~ I don't worry about it, as they don't send me any traffic to speak of anyhow.

I look at it this way. If what I'm doing is good enough for the big sites (both LL and TGP), then I am not going to sweat the odd site who may count my 2257 as an additional link.

I think overall that most site owners are more than happy to have submitters who are trying to comply.

And yes: I basically have only my full URL on the bottom of my galleries (similar to you) for the same reason: link count.
I figure who really wants to check it can cut-n-paste... I haven't had a complaint yet.

I don;lt think you need the affiliate link code on there - http://www.cumonherface.com/2257.html would do just fine & look a lot less odd :)

GreenGuy and GeorgeTH, that's not my gallery, ;) I just came across that one and liked the way he referenced his 2257 info without having a link.
