I have blisters on my fingers. I also have little cuts and abrasions everywhere along with big bruises.

Kitchen is almost ripped out just have one more soffit to go. The plumber, carpenter and electrician will be here on Monday so I have a few more days to finish my part. After this I guess you can call me Cleo the destructor. :D

They tilled my new shower yesterday. This is the color and style of tile that I'm doing my whole house in.

Fence people are suppose to try to do my fence again today. For some odd reason they didn't want to do it in the middle of the bad storms that we had for a few days this week.

I have a not so little tranny coming by this afternoon after she wakes up along with a few other people so I should be here all day.

Happy Anniversary Jim & Wife, and good Friday to everyone. Completely exhausted this morning for some resason.

My dad is up for the weekend and he said last night he hear gunshots outside the house, walked around but didn't see anything. I have heard them before as well, I guess that happens when you live in the country :)

I will admit to cooking up and smoking lots of cocaine in that kitchen, far worse things too, but not since the eighties. Funny we never would run out of coke just baking soda and propane. Makes me wonder how I survived the eighties.

I did find lots of naked Polaroids in it while tearing out some of the cabinets. :D

Congrats to Jim & Victoria! Hope you have a lovely weekend together. |roses|

Cleo - your tiles look gorgeous! I love that warm color. I was thinking about heading down to Home Depot one of these weekends & taking their Tiling For Complete Morons class. I'd love to put in a new back splash in my kitchen.

I'm running a big pool tournament this weekend, so taking tonight off to relax.

I've laid tile… trust me paying someone to do it is worth every penny.

hehe. Point taken. I thought I could cut baseboards for my place & discovered the hard way that my floor is uneven & my rudimentary woodworkings skills aren't exactly up to snuff. All those home decorating shows on during the day are going to my head.

I'm actually ripping out all the you can do it yourself with Home Depot's help from all the past home improvement projects.

I'm pretty good at ripping out stuff but pretty bad at making anything involving wood, plumbing, electrical, tile, or painting look decent or working right.

I've saved a few grand by ripping out everything myself but this time around I'm paying people skilled in their craft to do it right.

It's times like this that I miss having a boyfriend.

Maybe I should run an ad in the personals. Mature single woman seeks male companion. Looks unimportant but must be skilled in use of all power tools and uninterested in sex. Gardening and domestic skills a plus.
