Will be getting one in a couple of days . Looks nice and sleek. Clever way to make money too. They could easyily have made this one on the initial release. Instead, they cleverly opt for releasing a chunky fucker, a less chunky fucker, a silver and aqua chunky fucker, and now a tiny and pretty fucker like my penis.

I haven't gotten into consoles. My friend has PS2, GameCube, and Xbox.

I find most console games to be fun for 30-60 minutes then I get tired of them.

I know there are some in depth adventure games too...but I really like realitic simulation sorta games and a nice mix of mindless destruction.

I wonder when the hell Half-Life 2 will finally be released? That shit will be 'a way of life' for a good month.

If PS3 can get a good porting of Half-Life 2 then I'd get into consoles.

Gran Turismo is pretty good and there's a new version of that coming out...last I saw.

But PS3 out in '2005' most likely means Xmas 2005. :(

Yes, playstation intends to continue making its consoles backward compatible. You'll be able to play any ps game on the ps3, 4, 5, 6, ad infinitum.

Believe it or not, I'm not really into games that much. I basically like a small selection that I just play when I've been working 14 or 16 hours straight and I don't have to engage my brain. I don't / cant sleep a lot and it gives me something to do when I'm in zombie mode (been a 4 hour a day sleeper since forever). I'm an electronics freak though, so anything new I have to get. My kids love it and play more with my crap than me.

Gran tourismo 4 looks great. It won the tokyo game awards for best driver. My kind of game. Get yourself a wheel though. Check out gta series, in particular san andreas if you get into consoles. :)

I like gameboy advanced but too damn small,so I grabbed a emulator and play them on PC.
Saves me money and eye strain hahaha.1/2 gig worth of games is like over 2,000.00
that I didn't spend.But alot of the old school ones have nice emulators out there .
But I still like my gamecube with the GBA adaptor works great on my 35 in Sony

Yeah gbas are cool. I got the sp tribal edition few months back Shrek 2 is currently sending me bugshit. BUT...drum role, sony are releasing something that will literally shit on the sp. The graphics look as good as a ps2. Again, looks like we've got a wait for it though.

And yes Kristian, about time the $ regains it's value. I have this bank account in US$ that is waiting to get converted to Euros but as long as there is this 1.22 difference I'll just leave it alone :)

When I used to live in Beijing the market traders used to ask for USD. They would point blank refuse any other currency, even when I tried explaining Sterling was the stronger currency. I wonder if they still want USD? I remember once offering a homeless lady and her children cash outside of where I lived, world trade centre. I held out 5 quid.
