Fucking NBC must have been scared there'd be a MLB Playoff game last night, as ER was a fucking re-run |banghead| I really hate it when one network bows down to another, especially on the chance of a program being aired on the other network.

I should be here all day & tonight, The Bitch & I are going out to dinner with the MaryLou's :)

I am up a little early and nice to wake up to bling.. be the same day - review, add links for my new categories, probably go away to night to a halloween thing..

The tree outside the back deck is dropping its leaves and I woke up to the deck being covered in yellow leaves. Looks like I have a lot of cleaning to do outside this weekend.

I'm still in shock over Finnbear passing. The people on the boards become extended family and friends even if we never meet most of them in person.


On a happier note the electricians finally finished all their work other then just installing the recessed lighting fixtures once the new drywall is up in my kitchen ceiling.

Yesterday I ordered the new cabinets and finalized what appliances I'm getting. I wanted to buy all the same brand appliances but realized that it was impossible as I needed a counter depth refrigerator that was only 36 inches wide and only a few companies make them. So I got a Jenn-air fridge, a Frigidaire stove, GE microwave and dishwasher.

Drywall guy just showed up to start on my kitchen. He did an outstanding job on my bedroom and seems very talented. He is also installing the new doors and cabinets once they arrive. Plumber will also be here today.

It looks like a really nice day. Of course I have not yet stepped outside so I really don't know :) If it is, I am putting up our new Christmas lights. If not, I will be here all day.

Hmm.. just got back from a 2 hour "business" lunch where a few bottles of wine and 2 shots of some strange liquor made me feel a little happy :)

After reading the sad news about finnbear this happy feeling is completely gone. He was a great guy...

Friggin wife decided it'd be a good idea to get up at 6:30 and make lots of noice so I finally got out of bed at 7:15. Didn't go to bed until 2am.

Oh well, I'll be tired tonight drinking and playing cards at a friend's place. Someone's gotta do it |drunk|

I finally got in some hours of sleep last night

now that the baseball season is over

and still no hockey |angry|

any one hear anything about the NHL yet?

For whatever reason we have been feeling like we have had no sleep for days, so last night we both took some PM's and damn, we was in bed for 11 hours 45 mins. Stilll groggy but not like I was.

Cleo I love the kitchen, that is EXACTLY what I want, I love stainless.

AL Jim, I'm think there will be no NHL this year, but the NBA starts in 4 days!

I'm with you.... got all settled in for a new ER and they play a freaking old one. |angry|

The kids took over the TV and it became a Fuse/MTV marathon night for them, as there was nothing else on anywhere anyway. So I did some "housecleaning" on my computer, filed a bunch of stuff and organized my desk. Oh what fun.

Today we are doing some Halloween baking - got a family get2gether tomorrow and on Sunday we are taking the kids to a concert. This is our first year with NO trick-or-treating... I feel so old. No pumpkins, no graveyard in the flower garden... *sigh*
