I have a list of people trying to cloak hoes.com and need to send this to google. What is the most effective method of contacting them about abuse?

Sheesh.. everyones under attack at the moment.. Good luck Marc.. Linkster helped me contact google about an annoying one a few months back.. and that seemed to work.. I'd PM him if he doesnt reply to this thread.

Was talking to Kezza about the Godaddy copyright/site protection service a few days ago... she was going to research it a bit more.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Marc... I feel your pain :(

I have been having so much trouble with people copying text and site name from me for a couple of months now.

Last month there was over 60,000 pages in google using Link Fabulous' site name and text. I emailed google and they were mostly removed over a period of about 4 weeks.

This week it has happened again... site name and same text is back on over 65000 pages.

This time I have once again emailled google and written to the sponsors that this person links are redirecting to. I have also contact the hosting company.

As Opti said I am looking into a site protection service so we will see how that goes.

I am really at my wits end as to what to do next

Really you need to get a lawyer and threaten to sue google to get that method to work. Xpays had one of my pages removed because I was using a CECash Paris Hilton banner and not and xpays (who holds the copyright or something like that).

I am not sure suing google would be answer... surely you need to sue to source of the problem. Google is a search engine that lists spidered pages... its the source that actually owns the pages

Actually - the DMCA sent to google yesterday morning worked - Im back in and the other site is gone :)

Jay - if XPays had your page removed, for something they have copywrited, its a pretty easy process for them as long as they can prove that they hold the copywrite.

I have a question about this. Recently one of my sponsors contacted me asking if I had changed domains. She showed me a gallery that was copied exactly(with the exception of the thumbs and images), they even kept my affiliate ID. When you open it in IE it dumps a bunch or redirects, popups etc... It's the #2 google listing when you search for her site. Is this a google hijack?

RawAlex - that spamreport addy does seem to work in some cases - Ive been real succesful when Ive used it - others have reported it not working well - I think the biggest thing is to provide as much info in a professional way that you can.

That email you got back was auto-generated although it does mean that they at least looked at your email LOL
