San Andreas, here I come mofos!
 

Cannot wait to finish work today. I spent the morning fitting carpets in a new place I'm renting out this Friday. Rushed through so quick, I fucking hate to think how it looks. Now my fingers are going across this keyboard at lightspeed. Hoping to finish by 8pm or so, I can hit the San Andreas hills.

If anyone's got any good cheats for it, this is the place to add them. I'll post some as soon as I can.

I heard them playing it on Opie & Anthony & just the sounds made me damn near fall out of my chair.

When Vice City came out, I got it for Xmas & played it straight for about a week until we left for the convention in Vegas - had it not been for the convention, I'd probably still be playing it now :D

Mate all I can say is DAMN this is the SHIT. The sounds don't scare me, but the time I'm gonna be off playing does!

So far there is just so much I could say, but the first thing that hits you is the story. You really do feel part of a very decent story.

The way vice city has that cool 80s feel, this one feels like you've been transported to bad boys or boyz n the hood. I'm actually shitting myself in the hood, I need to keep looking out the window to reasure myself :D

I got to play it yesterday. Really fun game. Tempted to buy it, but I have a nasty habit of getting bored with games quick :(

kristian, are you playing that on ps2 or pc?

I went into my pc store today but they don't have it yet :(

I'm playing it on PS2. No way I'd get anything done if it was on PC. I have 3 rockweillers and a rabbid 300lb transvestite guarding it until 9pm each day. :D

Guess I will have to wait until it gets released on pc...if these games just wouldn't steal so much time :D

I love it!!! It was a family affair when we got it. The language was a little bit of a shock though (especially when my 5 year old was in there with us). Everybody loved Vice City, and since my wife was out of town, my 5 year decided to tell her about it. He asks me if he can tell he what it says. I didn't know what he was really talking about so I said "Sure!". The next thing I hear out of his mouth is "Fuck the Bitches!". My wife nearly freaked out when she heard him say that! I'm surprised I didn't get put on restriction by her for allowing him to hear that! :)

P.S. - I don't think it is supposed to be out until June of 2005 for the PC. Sony has some lock on it until then.

UPDATE: Been playing it for a few days, and I can see this game taking weeks or even months to finish. It's like Vice City X5, and I fuckin' love it! I've barely scratched the surface and the guys at Rockstar have really outdone themselves with the complexity and depth of play.

Been busy as a motherfucker lately. Was so excited about playing SA and have literally only had a couple of hours.

Me too, it rocks. I've completed a few missions, but mainly I've been working on myself. Got a badass pink mohawk, covered in tats, and my muscles are up 100%. I'm just chilling now, stealing choppers, and messing around in the hills.

Okay so i get back from a couple of weeks away from home kinda a working break, expecting my copy of San Andreas that i reserved to be waiting for me in the shop when i get back.

I arrive back early to make sure the shop is open... go to the shop and the bastards have sold it!!!!!

I then go on a trek for 2 hours trying to find the game in all the shops i can think of. Guess what it's sold out *everywhere* so no san andreas for me |verysad

It wouldn't be as bad if i hadn't pre ordered and it was out of stock, but i did as i knew this would happen... So i'm stuck with no san andreas until next week - even amazon say it'll take 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.

I was lucky here. The town is stuck in the dark ages. I expect most local citizens past San Andreas on the shelf not even noticing it. I think, should any of them know I even own a playstation, I'd have them lined up at the drive with burning torches, wanting to burn me at the stake for witchcraft. :)

Seriously it's worth the wait. In the meantime, I suggest you go jack a nice sports car, and do a couple of drive byes. Not quite as good as GTA, but it'll give you a taste. :)

Just finished completely annihilating the Ballas and Vagos gangs entirely....the whole first island is MINE, ALL MINE!! MWAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHA

For anyone curious, when your "Respect" is at 100% you can recruit up to 7 gang members to roll with you.

And the cash comes rollin' in!
