To how many ll's do you submit to?

Hi I'm just wondering to how many link lists you submit to?
And how many submissions per day; one?

Lemmy 2004-11-03 07:57 PM

120 give or take. 1/day, partly because that's what most LLs accept and partly because I can only manage to crank out one pr day.

Jeka 2004-11-03 08:05 PM

Thanks for the reply! Would you say it's worth it to submit to so many sites or would the 20 biggest link lists be enough too?

Lemmy 2004-11-03 08:15 PM

It's worth it if I make a sale :) Roughly I'd say I get about 80% of my hits from 20% of the LLs I submit to, but I get some hits from everybody. Since I'm rather new in this biz I'm taking all the hits I can get until I learn more about how everything works, but at 120/day I think I'm approaching my limit.

Jeka,
If you have time submit to every good link list out there. Every hit is a possible sale and every listing increases SE rankings.
But the majority of the traffic (Say 80%) will be coming from the top 20-30 Link Lists.

Sometimes I submit to 12. Sometimes I submit up to a whopping 24-30. Depends on my level focus and motivation on any given day.

Jeka 2004-11-04 12:04 AM

How much traffic do you get on average from the biggest 20 link lists?

murray 2004-11-04 12:39 AM

for me 8 max, usally only 6

Sean416 2004-11-04 01:21 AM

I submit to 48 link lists and most of them generate a decent amount of traffic. I started submitting to 120 or so, and took out the ones who only send an odd hit here and there. With the 48 I have now, theres only a couple that are small but I figure its good business to submit to a couple smaller ones.

anteyes 2004-11-04 01:39 AM

I submit to about 80 or 90 Link Lists...need to weed out the lesser ones that don't send anything. It does not take any time at all to submit to them all though, so it doesn't really matter.

tony 2004-11-04 12:04 PM

I submit to over 70 lls and I think its worth doing it, as I actually get some signups from my index5.html pages:)

MadMax 2004-11-04 12:47 PM

I'm currently submitting to about 80, and though most of the hits come from a small number of those I'll take every one I can get for the 30 seconds it takes to submit.

I'm currently on a 124 ll budget, over half a dozen or so freesites, for experimental purposes. I hope to be cutting them down to 60-80 after this trial.

varhau 2004-11-04 02:44 PM

currently 110 ll's, but next week will be 150+ |headbang|

HC-Majick 2004-11-04 03:07 PM

i have 90+ that i submit to regularly, getting ready to add and replace some this weekend. I have about 10-12 that supply the majority of the traffic.

Maxline 2004-11-04 03:18 PM

I submit to 54 LL's.

I try to get 100% of approves.
So if LL doesn't give much traffic and at the same time it skips and doesn't list my sites - I don't submit to it.
If a LL approves every site of mine, I usually submit to it.

Hey Useless Warrior,

WHAT'S YOUR LINKLIST?

krki 2004-11-04 06:02 PM

I submit all my sites to 100 LL

Opti 2004-11-05 03:10 AM

Most of you guys do more than I expected... no one mentioned it, but I think the main reason I would be submitting to a lot of smaller LLs is for the baclinks and long term advantage it will give the site in SERPs.. thats where you guys are going to make your easy money long term.. not just from the initial burst of traffic the top few sites can send.

I can see why people like 100% approval of submits too.. but Im not sure a lot of freesite webmasters realise that the sites with the stricter rules really do provide signnifcantly more and better converting traffic.. so it's worth doing, even if only 50% of sites end up listed.
