Changing a listed site

|newbie| Hi everyone. I thought I'd try something different and "ask before doing" for a change. I'm a newbie in the purest sense with my first site up now and teaching myself as I go (I've only run email groups in the past).

My question is this... I'm currently listed on just about everyone's LL here but I made the blunder of using frames to get the navigation and layout I wanted only to find out after that they severly reduce my search placement. (Did I mention I'm new?) I'm looking at a complete site redesign to fix it. All content will remain the same and all links will still be in place but because the site will be presented differently am I best to notify each LL, and if so, in advance or just after completion? In otherwords, how do I get from here ... to there?

I've got a decent start (only been rejected 3 times - too many pics... lol) with more than 50% of my traffic being return visitors. I don't want to blow it for future growth despite myself.

Hey Bryan,

I asked this same question a while back and the general concensus seemed to be that it's ok to make changes as long as the site still conplies with the rules. Some linklists will even delete your site if it's not updated occasionally. So I'd say change away.

I always prefer to spend my time doing new stuff, but ditto on what spacemanspiff said. :)

I'll 3rd that - as long as the site is still following the rules & the contect is the same (meaning that you don't change the site from cumshots to black babes) then change away :)

Sounds good to me and given the credibilty the advice is coming from it looks like I'll be busy for a while.

I agree with ya there Cleo but I need to finish what I've started first and still have a long way to go yet. While my site is free it isn't a "free site" in the sense of the two galleries and main page but rather a (planned) much larger project. The other part of that is this is my first venture and I'm having to teach myself as I develop. Lots to do and lots to learn still ... I'll throw multi-tasking into the mix once I'm a little more experienced (and efficient).

BTW: I meant to ask the reason for not allowing frames on your LL as you were one of the few lists with that restriction? Blocked indexing of the site? Too easy changed without knowing? Just curious ...
