TGIF (I Guess)

Well, here it is early Friday Morning and I am feeling a little better. Still woke up at 5 AM and slept like crap but, I do think I am feeling better.

I have a ton of work to catch up on. Not only online but at home as well. I am still working with a sheet of plywood instead of an outside door for our dining room. And, it snowed last night :( Damn, being sick has really put me behind. I guess it's time I was a man about it and just work through it.

So, here I am... :)

Morning all from South Florida. :)

I'm so sore that I had trouble sleeping. I worked my ass off doing final prep on my bedroom. I even took a shower in my new shower but I see that the tile guy still doesn't have the floor pitched right so I'm calling to bitch as soon as I'm awake. Hopefully the third time will be the charm. I still need to paint its bathroom and get the sink and toilet installed.

I'm taking a bit of a break today from house construction work and doing web work instead so I should be around most of the day.

Happy Fucking Friday Peoples!

Holy fuck is it windy here - I've got rqther large tree branches laying all over my yard from the wind last night. I can;t wait to go & inspect things a little closer & see what else has made it's way from one side to the other - I'm guessing a couple garbage cans are in the neighbor's trees :D

It's supposed to snow here today too |santa|

I'll be here most of the day :)

You are probably getting the winds we had here last night in Michigan they were friggin horrible especially since our house faces a lake. You would walk out the screen door and it would whip the damn door open.

No snow here yet, but its been getting cold as hell.

Have a good friday everyone, take some time off and enjoy the weekends :)

Andy

Yup, another cold blustery and day in Upstate NY. It's a hot chocolately morning, to paraphrase Winnie the Pooh. The wife was worried that our shed's tin roof would be in the neighbor's yard this morning, but all seems well. Maybe one of these damned cats will blow away.

Happy Friday! |bananna|

Very happy for me. Not sure if you have terrace houses in the states (I think you may call them town houses??), but we finished work on one this week in preparation for a family moving in today. Was very last minute for one reason and another. But I can breath now and do more online work for a bit. :) I used to rent mainly to students but I'm moving towards families, using a good local estate agent. TIme for a banana dance |bananna|

What is this thing you call snow?

Good Morning All :) Coffee is ready and I am ready for some snow :)

Cleo 2004-11-05 09:19 AM

It's that thing that they run up to my car and try to sell me when I'm taking the shortcut through the not so lovely neighborhood on my way to Home Depot. Best I can tell the only reason that someone would live where it snows for a third of the year is the severe addition that it can bring on.

It's Friday?
Hmmm...
"'Cause Friday I'm in love..."

You guys down in Florida can keep your little Hurricane season stuff - if it snows tonight, I'm not going to wake up to part of my house missing :D

Cleo 2004-11-05 10:43 AM

But my house is going to look so nice now. :D

Florida's four seasons…
The enjoy the freshly remodelled home and open your windows and spend 7 months enjoying the splendid weather. This is also known as tourist season when you go hunting for sunburned humans and extract all their money.

Then there is the rainy season where we go back into the land of A/C indoors and enjoy indoor activities like shopping for hurricane supplies.

Then there is the hold onto your ass as you experience the thrill of 150+ MPH winds rushing past your home. For added fun you can stick your head out the window and hang out your tongue and pretend that you are driving your house in a endurance race.

Then there is the construction season where you get a really good workout each day while learning the fine art of home building and remodeling.

Greets, coffee is on.
I can't wait until this shitstorm of a week is finally over. |hello|
