Anyone know anything about them?

When ever links are pulled from the listings due to timeout or connection error, it seems like a lot of those sites are hosted at The Planet.

I've never heard of them, but that could just be a router issue between you & them.

The Planet is a very large hosting company, with several datacenters in the Dallas, TX area. They have pretty affordable dedicated servers, and most people are probably hosted with their child company ServerMatrix

That's a Server Matrix site, which is hosted/owned or whatever at The Planet.

For me it's slow to connect to it, then once it connect it seems ok.

Yes, it is very slow loading for me as well. I don't think it is the datacenter though, because my webhosts servers are located at the planet, so mine would be running slow as well.

Thanks. Then I'm not the only one :)

It took a couple seconds for my browser to find the site, but when it did, it loaded just fine & the others pages loaded normal.
