Damn, that's bizarre. I could understand turning to homocide over ther election results, but not suicide.

You know, I was thinking that too. Maybe CNN have it wrong. Maybe he killed himself over the prospect of moving to Canada :D

Well - I guess the post I made yesterday didnt go through :)

What makes this really interesting is how this guy ended up inside an area that is protected 24 hrs a day with alarmed entry, barbed wire, armed police and is monitored by the Homeland security people constantly. No holes in any of the protective fences, and none of the many people that guard this place ever heard a shotgun going off???

Guess the homeland security people will explain that he jumped from a helicopter flying in the no-fly zone over this area and shot himself while dropping to the ground????

That's an interesting point, Linkster. And I think the smell will get stronger over time.

One thing I find interesting. The Canadien immigration site had so many hundred thousand hits the moment Bush was re-elected. At the same time, Bush is known to be very easy on immigration.

This is going to have massive implications for your labor market. It's called insourcing. You bring people into the US who are willing to work for FAR LESS than the average American. So the average wage declines. At the same time, high-earning citizens are skipping the country. Cheap labor will obviously effect spending. The response might be to enforce minimum wages which, in turn, will lead to higher unemployment. And so on and so on....
