Seems all those people touting problems with googles index size are eating their words this morning :)

Google - Searching 8,058,044,651 web pages

That is one of my favorite conspiracy theories... "google is full".

That's a number, read from a text file, that's all. Do people think they actually recount the number of pages for each visitor?
