It would have been greater justice if he was found guilty of killing OJ.

Glad to hear it. The guy was scum from the word go.

Since I dont have an opinion either way yet on this case - it will be very interesting to see why the judge removed juror #5 (the jury foreman) yesterday after 6 days of deliberations - told the jury to rediberate and they came back in half a day with no problems bringing the new juror up to speed? And the juror the judge removed says he would have hung the jury as he thought the guy was innocent - sounds like its time for the conspiricy theories to start coming out LOL

It was a mob hit and jurer 5 had no choice but to do what the mob said, hang the jury. |jester|

Actually, seems like the guy did it from what I read. If he did let him hang. Do they hang people still in the US? They should hang anyone that kills a kid, born or not.

selena 2004-11-12 07:11 PM

I have an opinion, which I shall keep to myself. :)

While I don't know about consipracy theories, I think the possibility for a mighty quick appeal exists.

Perhaps a reversal at some point.

Whether I agree or disagree with the verdict, I do not get how, after a 5 month trial, you reach a verdict in less time than it takes me to clean my house. Espcially in a case where there was not a smoking gun or that type of thing.

MrMaryLou 2004-11-12 07:12 PM

Fry the rat bastard I say :)

Sounds like you spend too much time cleaning your house.:D

docholly 2004-11-12 07:46 PM

IF he did it.. and you are right Linkster, it seems awfully weird about the dr/attorney who was the forman being removed and wallah: Guilty.

But if he did it, i hope he gets life without parole, a far worse punishment than death.

Maybe they'll make Susan Smith his roommate..

Bush buried Kerry, they buried a terrorist bastard today, a wive and baby killer might get buried in 10 or 15 years, but now what are the tv networks going to do to fill all that dead air now?

Somehow, after I had posted that, I knew you would make a comment, Useless Warrior.

Well, I guess I'm the odd man out. I don't think the guy did it. I think the cops stopped looking after they decided he did it. Just my opinion.

|buddy| rest their souls.

As far as filling air time now, it's time to move on to the Michael Jackson case(s) and they guy in Utah - forgot his name.

Now that guy is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

|jester| Selena I thought that was one of his better coments (got me to laugh out loud)

The local media has run interviews from a bunch of Scot Petersons high school and college room mates, even the ones that claim him as a friend admit that he's arrogant and snobish
That's all the evidence I need "hang him he's a snob"|pissleft|

Linkster 2004-11-12 11:14 PM

I guess Im still at the point where this guy is too stupid to have done it - but then I really cant stand the bitch thats representing the Frey babe - media hound - they usually get what they want and some poor dude that went out fishing gets to pay for her oppulance

Tommy 2004-11-12 11:29 PM

The whole thing is really sad

I cant see that.....going from standing in front of a preist saying I Do...to killing someone

thats a long road

Sad thing is it is not uncommon at all.

If he did not kill her, then he is the unluckiest man alive to have the bodies wash up where he happened to be "fishing".

I would not go so far as to say I don' t think he did it. But I don't see that adequate evidence was presented that made him guilty without reasonable doubt.

Sure, he was a snake and a cheat and a liar. But if that makes a person guilty of murder, then a good 1/3 of the customers at my bar are as well. :D

Then I won't tell you all the times I've been called an arrogant bitch. |couch| |jester|

Haven't followed it too close, but I think he did it.

I folded a $20 bill into a triangle, looked at it in a mirror and was able to conclude that it won't be long before we're wrapped up in another media moment brought to you by WENDYMACDONALDKING at which point my sysapses will spontaniously react and I will combust in a massive firey ball (thanks Max Headroom).

Jim 2004-11-13 08:25 AM

I hate to admit that I just don't keep myself up to speed with day to day court dealings. I think OJ was the last one I really cared about. Watching courttv last night with my lovely wife, I had to keep asking her, who is that?

amber438 2004-11-13 10:52 AM

I have to admit that while my mother was here (for 3 months) we followed that daily on court tv. she was obsessed.
She thought he was a "rat bastard who should be drowned just like Lacy and Connor".
I personally have quite a few questions regarding the case, all of which stem from his actions up to his arrest. His attitude, actions, etc dont impress me as being one of those of a man in grief, frantically looking for his pregnant wife. But time will really tell. The truth eventually comes out. He will make some kind of mistake in jail, tell someone maybe in 5-10 years what really happened and it will come out (hopefully).

Unless you didn't love your wife anymore, and weren't really looking forward to being a father. Or you just plain hated the holidays and needed away for awhile. Neither of those equals guilt or innocense, but it are possible explanations.

***********

A side note to that is during pregancy I was such a bitch I am sure someone would have driven cross country to get away from me, no matter what day of the year it was. :D
