Tryng something new

Seven weeks into career as a Freesite maker/submitter my results aren't much to write home about. In an effort to change that I thought I'd try something new. Here's a gallery I plan to submit on Monday. I've added a "bonus video" to each of the gallery pages and I have two questions:

1. Is this even "legal", meaning would it be accepted by most LLs out there?

2. Is there any point to it in terms of increasing sales, or would I just be racking up bandwith?

I just feel that I have to do something to start making some sales.

For me personally, I'm not huge into video... I think it eats too much bandwidth, but on the other hand it does seem to attract surfers a lot more, and may result in better conversions!

Well for seven weeks, I think your site looks professional to me. I'm a |newbie| and been doing this for about a year now. The first 3-4 months was learning html, etc. and I'm still learning. I got my first sale this past June. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I knew absolutely nothing when I started and from the looks of your site, you are way ahead of me.

So, maybe you'll have your first sale and many more a lot sooner than I did.

Good luck to you.

It it were me I'd add the video to gallery 2 only! Why? If the surfer makes it to gallery 2 then they are most likely not going to buy. So adding a video to gallery 2 with some sales text really pushing the site might convince them to check out the site afterall and maybe sign up.

Something like this maybe:
You still here? Check out this video from blahblah.com to see the quality inside showing how these slaves love getting their asses whips. This site has 1000's of these videos for you to watch and download. Here's a sample:

Otherwise I wouldn't bother. LOL

ngb1959: Thanks for the kind words! I've been playing around with websites for a couple of years now, so unlike you I didn't start from scratch with HTML. As far as the adult business is concerned I'm greener than this guy. |greenguy| :)

Ramster: Some good points, I think I'll do just that. No point in giving the surfer more than we have to.

Lemmy let me give you some encouragement 7 weeks into this biz.. Make SE friendly sites and keep building and when you start to see se traffic to your sites, you will start to see more sales it takes a hell of a lot of traffic to get sales and dont start any traffic pump projects that make you quit building free sites a mistake I made but aleast I know enough now to patch my mistake..

And stay on this board and get to know the LL people and get there trust and you will find that to be a great asset..

Oh yeah, I consider this board to be my formal education in the business. :) I've actually made a few sales, but not as many as I'd like considering the time and effort I've put in. Maybe I'm expecting too much too soon...
