Damn, I am so sick of waking up this early.
Christmas decorations are almost done. I actually had an early view of them last night. Should be just one more day...thank god :)

I should be around all day. Unless it gets as warm as the weather people claim it will be.

I'm also sick of waking up way too early. It's a combo of the changing of the clocks, sleeping on a mattress that is on the floor, body aches from doing work that I'm not used to, and having my living space completely disrupted.

We had bad storms here last night and it is looking like a pretty nasty day here. Guess I'll be home most of the day doing web work and making phone calls to see if I can get someone in here sooner so as to get my living room finished as the person that was suppose to do it got tied up on another job.

WTF is wrong with people putting really loud music on hold? I called the roofers this morning to see when they would get around to finishing my roof, its had piles of roof tiles sitting on it for weeks now, and their music on hold was loud enough to wake the dead. This is like the third place with music on hold this loud in as many days. Personally I like silence with just an occasional message to let you know that you are still on hold.

I've never encountered that. Usually it's classical music, but it is still very bloody loud.

Just get your own back. When they finally pick up the phone, you go "HELLO MOTHERFUCKER! JUST WONDERING WHEN YOU'LL BE DRAGGING YOUR FAT, LAZY ASS OVER TO MY ROOF WHICH NEEDS FINISHING. YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT I'M SCREAMING AT YOU. THIS IS BECAUSE YOUR CUNTING MUSAK HAS MADE MY EARS BLEED AND I AM NOW HEARING IMPAIRED!!."

Just be sure to throw in several more motherfuckers and fuckers into the mix to get your point across. :)

Going to the eye doctor today to see if I can get that RK, CK, Lasik, or whatever it's called now surgery. Insurance pays all but $25 per eye - cheaper than getting new glasses.

Just got off the MOTHERFUCKING PHONE with them. For the second time this month they told me that they are waiting for my roof tile to be delivered. How fucking clueless can their office be? My roof tile has been sitting on my MOTHERFUCKING roof now for about a month. When I told them that they said that they would be here today but then changed that before Friday.

Then I told them that their music on hold was REALLY LOUD at which time the woman asked me to listen while she adjusted the music. I declined to be their music on hold tester and told her that I had to go now and take some aspirin.

You would think that the fact that I still owe them 8k would put some fire under their asses to get out here and finish my MOTHERFUCKING roof.

Wait this is South Florida where people just plain don't show up. About ten years ago I had my lawn sprinkler pump replaced and the guy told me that he needed a part and would return the next day. I never heard from him again so he never got paid. I did run to Home Depot a few days later and get the pipe fitting that was needed and finished the install myself. In the end it cost me less then $10 bucks and I got a brand new pump for free.

I'm now sitting here waiting for Blue Sky Textures to call me back to let me know when they can come by to give me an estimate on doing my living room and dinning room and den ceilings and walls since the carpenter that was suppose to do it decided that he should go do a tile job instead of finishing my house first. WTF my cabinets are suppose to be here on Friday and that can't be done until the floor tile is laid and that can't be done until the ceiling and walls and finished and the MOTHERFUCKING carpenter that is suppose to do the job goes and starts another job.

I'm getting cranky and very bitchy and want my living space made livable again.

Same shit happens where I live. I had a guy come out last year to fix our furnace. He said he needed a part (the furnace worked when he left, but he needed a part for a fresh air return or something). He said he needed a check for $125 to get the parts on top of what I paid him to fix the furnace. So I wrote him the check, this was October 2003, still no part. I called him numerous times and got the run around, I gave up and just took the $125 hit.

It seems here you cannot get people to work because most of them are on dissability (although they shouldn't be). So they figure why work if I can get paid for doing nothing. I had a guy working around our house last summer and he had to quit because he felt someone might see him working and he would lose his dissability. There was NOTHING wrong with this guy. He was lifting heavy stones, doing yard work etc. It's amazing. I think we as a nation have just become lazier over the years is all.

These shitheads are the same the world over. I've been buying and renovating terraced houses since I was in university. I can't think of one single job which didn't have problems and caused me to blow a fuse.

The best way to deal with them is as you're doing. Shout, scream, swear, and act as crazy as a shithouse rat. I've also dumped a skip of debris and crap on a front doorstep, used physical violence, threats, and more than I care to share :D They're being lax with you because they think "single women, living alone".
