Do porn surfer forums exist?
 

I was just pondering life, the universe and everything earlier today, and I realized how rarely I've heard any adult webmaster talk about getting info from surfers on what they want. As adult webmasters, we've got lots of forums in which we talk about the best way to sell to these surfers, but I'm wondering if there are any online communities where the surfers congregate.

yahoo groups lol.......can learn a lot....and get traffic. and see tons of major easy tp produce major niches no sponsor programs are using :(

the Hackula's (mr and mrs) run a great surfer site, Pornquest. mainly BBW but they give good feed back.. and really say what they like.

For some good hardcore porn fans you should check out adultdvdtalk.

The yahoo groups are a good source as well.

Sure there are lots of them.. the worst kind is the Japanese bbs which loves to hotlink your pics and can send 700,000 hits or more in less than 12 hr.

Edit: they surf tgps and find the galleries and post the urls to the big pics so all you can do is keep an eye on them and change or rename directories.

but i don't think you will get a board surfer to do a signup to anything??... but okay traffik to build volume perhaps...

and to the boards that hotlink.. move the image that is postet, and redirect your 404 to the frontpage :)

Hmm, 404ing links may not be the best idea.. but there a few select boards which do convert if what you sell is their niche and real high quality.. and you can see the links of some big playas up there as well.

Has anyone considered fuskering their own sites while using htaccess to replace all hotlinked images with a graphic that reads 'get free porn at ...' ? I've seen people scramble to stop hotlinking from fuskers that way, but what about using it as an advantage? I've wondered if it would be worthwhile.

what I hate are forums that charge people money to download hotlinked porn.

Interesting.. but the real fuskers always provide an email addy for you if you want your link removed and they delete it asap unlike the Asians.

And I was mentioning hotlinked images which are part of a tgp gallery, the so called big pics so all you can do is renaming the directory and editing the html file or you'll get banned. They hotlinkers are sent to your 404 page.

We tried what you are saying with a friend and sponsor and her programmer friend yesterday and came up with different solutions but none of them worked.. can this be some basic server root .htaccess file which conflicts with mine.

Another possibility would be to setup your own fake message board, and fill it with your own fake post and link to your sponsors...
