Damn, what a long week. I have no idea why but, it seemed to drag and drag. At least the weekend is finally here. Although, since being weekend is just a state of mind for me and it really is just another 2 days of work, I don't know why I care :)

The popcorn removal and texture people are suppose to be here today to do my living room, dinning room, and den area.

I got a check from my insurance company for about 1/4 of what I was hoping for. Not sure what recourse I have but I'll be making some phone calls today.

Not really sure what I'm doing today as my house is going to be a mess while the contractors invade the middle of my house blocking access to my office.

Typical day of work for me, then the wife and I leave for the big city tonight (Detroit) to stay at my parents then tomorrow we go see my grandfather for the weekend in Pennsylvannia. Should be interesting, he has had so many strokes most of the time he doesn't remember who we are.

On another note I finally got around to configuring PhpMyAdmin so that I could browse all my databases with one login. Much to my horror I found lots of links to dead sponsors and dead processors. |banghead|

Makes me really wonder how much stuff like that I have hard coded on pages long forgotten about. I don't even remember what I have on some servers.

It's 9:12 here and still no contractors. I got up at 6 since they were suppose to start at 7:30. |raygun|

Hello all.....

So many issues the last few days so little time.

Got our Windows Media Encoder updated from 7.1 to 9 so now it is working once more, I still would like to know why it stopped working after 4 years but I don't think I ever will.

I am trying to learn more about this new script and of course when I go to the "manual" pages I find like 8 dead links on subjects I want and I think NEED to know about, so I will be toying with other things I think.

Nothing like buying something only to stare at it totally clueless wondering..... What do I do now?

I wanted to comment on 2 things in the newsletters this week.

the first one was about slow time of year:

This is the busiest Time of year for live webcams. Wives are busy doing holiday things like shopping, planning, cooking etc.. and lots of guys feel neglected in the process. Their wives are out.. spending their money so to reward themselves they log on and visit their favorite camgirl.

So while other parts of our industry, recurring memberships etc., may slow down, there is a marked increase in webcam sales as it's instant gratification, badda bing and out.

I totally agree on having a domain based email address. I only use mine for submissions. It's the only thing i've ever used it for and i receive at least 100-200 spams per day. That's what sneaks thru my anti-spam filters. So i answer everyone from my gmail account.
i've had it changed 2 times with diviants of that name and still my box is so packed i hate to open it.

of course that's nothing compared to
the 4million pieces bill gates (according to netscape) receives daily.

Good luck with the tests man, I know doctors can be a pain in the ass sometimes with it. I remember going through tons of testing for some stomach problems I had a while back, and then they started doing the same thing for me with my borderline diabetes last year. Gets frustrating for sure. I hope everything works out for you with the prescriptions and stuff though.
