LL owners - Traffic question

Just out of curiosity, how many hits/day were you getting when you started feeling like your link list was really taking off?

They didn't have counters back then :D

my LL is still in my view just a new born baby, I got excited when I reached 100 visits a day at present I take about 10K visits per day on my LL but thats still way too low to be serious contender -

My little site needs to go through high school and colledge before shes ready to play with the big boys ;-)

Geez, if your site is a new born baby, mine hasn't even been conceived yet. :(

I'm only getting like 300 a day, and it's seems like it's taking forever to grow.

It's only a few months old, but I hoped it would be getting much better traffic numbers by now. Maybe I'm not doing something right... |goodnight

If your linklist is getting 10k uniques per day (not hits) then you are in the top percentage of linklists.
Having 300-500 uniques per day is a good start and is very normal for the first year - until you get some real good SE listings and loads of bookmarkers.
Make sure that when you are looking at stats or counters that you compare apples to apples - hits do not equal visitors :)

Lowry - keep working getting pages added and submitting free sites with links to your niche categories etc - it will build up

Cool, so I'm doing pretty well for a newer link list. I was expecting 9-12 months for SE traffic to really turn into anything, so I'm happy with the 1k hits/month the SEs are sending now. I'm seeing the SE traffic build every month, and of course I've got lots of great submitters so that helps. Thanks for the input guys.

Yeah... I know the feeling. Starting over means starting from the beginning as well. I was getting pretty good traffic before, so I'm going to have to build that back up.
Right now I am working on starting my TGPs back up so, plus adding a few new ones (will have 5 going when I am finished), so then I can start networking that traffic, and then start feeding some of the traffic from them to my LL.
In addition, I am heavily advertising on the adult forums I run which has gotten over 5000 registered members in less than 6 months, and is averaging about 30-50 new people a day, so I am getting a lot of traffic from that.

Hope within 6 months I will be in that 10k a day traffic too!

NochexContact - 10,000 per day for an LL. Your talking pants

A TGP with 10k is a bitty little tadpole; A Link List with 10k should be looking at paying the rent [at least]

'course, you could be talking 'bout your feeder galleries/free sites too. We all got that :)

Just kiddin' |peace|

koolkat 2004-11-21 11:35 AM

No... I was referring to 10k a day for the link list. With 5 TGPs, I had better be pulling 500k to 1mil on the low end!!!

Then again - 10k hits per day for "free porn" is worth about 2k hits per day for "lesbian movies" - lol - quality is everything!

I get around 10k per day (uniques) - around 60% of which is really worthwhile imho - the rest is picked up with "easy" search terms.
