How many submits per day you get?
 

Was just curious what you folks see day in and day out...I've seen a few complaints about the lack of quality of submissions.

How many submits do you get per day on average?

What % of those get declined?

What are the 3 most common reasons you decline?

I was pretty surprised when tommy mentioned they still decline like 2k a day. Since he's partner only I woulnd't think many sites would be declined.

I mean, ya can't really fuck up on the rules unless you're really new or happen to make a mistake doing something quickly.

Cleo mentioned the submissions seem to be getting worse by the day. Why is that?

We're usually working before the day is out, but I'd guess 150-300, depending on the day (weekends are slower oddly enough)

That's how many you decline, not how many you get, right?

What % are declined? I mean- is it really that bad...like say 20%?

Im in the same range - 150-300 a day and at least 50% get declined mostly for just not looking at the rules or using autosubmitters - with a close third being sponsor content.
This is just for the sites we actually look at.

Remember also that some declines are script automated so the count submitted is really higher - this is just the sites that make it through the automatic declines - I have a feeling that the number is probably up around 300-500 a day that initially come in.

Oopps - I forgot to put in the declined stats - I'd say 50% are declined, give or take a few % points.

I guess I'm lucky percentage wise. I'm only getting 15-30 submits daily right now, but I only have to decline about 10% of them. A lot are from regular submitters who build quality sites, many of whom are from this board. I should push the template issue more than I do, but what the hell...the list is still new enough that if all the other rules are complied with and people take the time to vary colors, fonts etc. and use quality content I'm happy to have the listings.

We average about 75 submissions/day. We reject 40-50 percent. Most common reasons for rejection are:

1. Overused or poor quality galleries
2. No reciprocal link
3. Site won't load, or content is broken.

Usually just under 100 and I'm declining about 50 to 75 percent of them.

I get around 200 submissions / day and around 65% of them gets trashed for

1) Over used (sponsor) content
2) Low quality content (over compressed, to small in size etc)
3) Fucked up design or layout, like missing recips, templates etc)

There are so many people trying to get on the wagon that they forget that are competing with a million others. I like to think that I produce pretty good looking efforts in the free site department; And I still get rejected about one in four [25%]

So what about the punter who doesn't have a clue about building sites?

Well, I am glad I was never rejected excpet a site I made b4 GG changed the vidcap rules and a couple sites for hoes where sponsor content had been used.

Smut Links gets about 75 per day and we decline probably close to 35-40%. More now that I am adding even better cheating measures.

Number that I list: Maybe 40-50 per day.

Blacklisted sites and "rejected" IP addresses, hosts, and other garbage takes care of about half of the submits every day. Visual declines are about 50% of what is left.

50-60 to 1-free-sex-and-porn-pics.com
Usually list between 25-30

Reasons for decline:

1. Crappy, overused pics.
2. Banned content, mainly old women and young boys, but other stuff too.
3. Overused templates.
4. Sites with absolutely no personality or any sign of effort to make it interesting. (usually happens when I'm in a bad mood.)
5. Using the same recip every time, even though the sites are submitted to different categories.

Same decline reasons here...

analbitch , (not my site anymore even my stuff is still there lucky me, i am the reviewer) 70+ about 3 or 4 a 10 will get listed, reason, same descrip as title and wrong submitting and more stuff
adult bitch (even the site is only 3 weeks old 20+ submits a day about 6 of the 20 gets listed, reason people dont read rules and ignore my postings.|violin|
