Linked Headers OK?

I've seen different takes on this, and gotten varying advice, so please let me know if you would accept a header linked to sponsor, or consider it blind.

stablehand, by saying "header", are you referring to the title of the free site?

A banner at the top.

I'd have to see an example - if it's the one DDave is thinking, I'd say it's a bad idea. If it's just a banner up top, that should be fine.

I'd probably allow that like you have it (without a shitload of text above or below it that's linked up as well)

Depend on how blind they look - maybe yes, maybe no. If they link to the root of your site - it would be a lot better than linking to the sponsor.

It would then have a navigation funtionality rather than just a blindlink.

You probably should put a
or

tag between your title and that banner. On a resolution higher than 800x600 it shows up a bit messy.

Seems like lots of people are forgetting to start new lines these days. |sad|
