Today is my Dad's birthday, so I'll be over there eating a lot of food for the 2nd time this weekend & watching the Bills make fools of themselves in Seattle.

I'm being dragged to a fair today. My complete idea of hell. Tons of local yocals (the great unwashed). Tons of stalls laden with crap -- most of which April and the kids will try and win. Yippee!

Good morning on the day the religious folks usually wind up their gods. ;)

On the seventh day it is a day of rest for me. Luna came over yesterday and we got all my crap moved out of the rooms that are being started on Monday, fuck I hurt in place that I didn't know you could hurt, so taking it easy today.

I keep on walking right by the dinning room table that has all my stuff setup on it and walking into my office which is completely empty. Been doing the same thing to the guest bathroom too for the last week every time I have to pee. Kind of strange… I just stand there for a few seconds and then realize that the room is under construction. lol

Hot Cafe Bustelo espresso is ready. :)

It's good to know that the Fair's over here are the same as the Fair's over there :D

The thought of having to climb into a small plastic both full of other people's crap and piss fermenting in the hot Florida sun usually keeps me away from these types of events.

It's nasty here too. And...I can't get this new laptop to talk to my network so I have been uploading to the server and downloading to the laptop :) I'm sure that once I get the bigger things moved, I will have it figured out :)

I just nuked a frozen ravioli & cheese dinner in my new microwave for the same amount of time that I've always used in my old microwave and it pretty much incinerated it. Guess I will be needing to shorten my cooking times when using this new microwave. LOL

That's exactly what I was thinking. The only good reason I can think of for going to a fair is to scope out the corn-fed farmer's daughters while they still have their teeth.

Morning all..

holy crap, I just woke up, it's like 3.00PM ...
Went to a friend's birthday party yesterday, he had a bottle of Chivas Regal reserved specially for me. I was grateful for that yesterday, today I'm a little less grateful |hammer

Well, I'm back, and it wasn't all that bad. It turned out to be a medieval event. I forgot to take my camera, but here is where it was held. I had some decent baby deer, some crappy local wine, got to scope out one of Father Christmas' elves in a rather unmedieval mini skirt.

I felt a tad underdressed though. A lot of people were dressed in authentic garb, right down to sword and chain mail. I assumed most of these folks worked at the event but turned out that these dudes just come dressed like it!

Right. Babysitter arrives in awhile and I'm off out to eat more wildlife with my maiden. :)

Up at the crack of 11:40AM. :)
