Hosting question?
is it common practice for host to block your acount when the amount of bandwidth you use exceeds the amount alloted to you in your hosting package? I am asking cuz this kinda pissed me of my traffic came from the domain i was on this host that blocked my acount for exceeding it's bandwidth amount in the package i bought. as a result my traffic tanked.|angry|

I have seen it plenty of times but have never had it happen myself. I have had packages where I used more than the alloted amount and was charged for the overage.

I had this happening last week when I was experimenting with TGP stuff. I thought they would just keep it up and charge for the overage but no... let's take it down they said |raygun|
I asked them politely to never do this again :D |

Alot of the control panel systems nowadays do that automatically,
unless your host takes out the check mark by the option in the control panel administration interface where it says "suspend at limit" I highly doubt your host would manually suspend your account at limit. So you might want to ask your host to do that for ya, take out the checkmark for "suspend at limit" option. Regards: Sami H. http://www.ServerProvider.Com |
That is a NO NO
Davevjr,
Get yourself a GOOD hosting company. No reputable company should do something like that. |
