Getting back at spam
Hi,
Well here is a very aggressive way of getting back at spam: http://www.guardian.co.uk/online/new...363480,00.html However I wonder if Lycos is opening themselves up to legal action by any site they take down? Steve |
The E-spams for the fake Rolexes are killing me lately. I don't want a fucking Rolex or a fake one! Ok.. I feel better |rasta| Seems like once I get a majority of the filters setup with mailwasher, out comes something else...
I like the idea, but when they go after a site vs an affiliate who is spamming against the TOS, it seems they could easily end up with legal action like you stated. - kero |
The spammers redirected the DDOS attack back at Lycos and so they shut it down after about 12hrs...

You have a link about this? |
everyone out there should get spambayes or some other bayesian filtering system.
http://spambayes.sourceforge.net Since installing and training spambayes I no longer see any spam. With the email address james@fuckyou.com you can imagine I get a lot. |
